A little surprised by this one. The Cuse almost a double digit Fav against a team they lost to on the road. But man does that home field really help the point totals. March is right around the corner and the Cuse is one of those bubble teams. A loss here would greatly hurt their chances !! I think Syracuse has enough to cover this number at home, but nothing BIG !!!

Roll with me on Wichita State -11 @ home against Illinois State. That is the line I am playing it at. WSU is starting to get back on track and the leadership of Turgeon and Wilson have steadied the Shockers after an abysmal stretch where they lost 4 in a row and 6 out of 7. The Shockers are also playing revenge in this one as Illinois state beat down on them 83-75 at their place. With the earlier start and the Shocker nation clamoring for a win to put them at 8-7 in the conference, this game means much more to WSU than the Redbirds. The Mo valley tournament takes the bottom 4 and puts them in playin games and right now Illinois State has no way of getting out of that bottom 4. They would have to win outright (or as golfers say they are dorme) to get an NIT bid. I think we play the Shockers for the same reason we played on them against Indiana State team..one team is playing for the dance and revenge, the other for absolutely nothing on a Sunday in Wichita.
