NBA Picks for Fri, Feb. 9

Yo, Takis, I got nothing against your Raps! It just so happened that I went against them twice in a row (and I lost!). I actually like this team and I have watched them play! This franchise seems to be getting back on track after Isiah ruined them, just like he ruins everything he gets his hands on. Bosh is a beast! The Raps will go places with this guy and a little more help!

The Bulls are going nowhere this year! They can't win on the road (which makes you average at best imo) and they have no offensive low post threats!

I have to win some games today! Let's start with these:

MEMPHIS +1.5

CLEVELAND -2 (the Cavs must win this game or they can punch their ticket to an early vacation)

  6. Steve Nash sat out Thursday's practice trying to reduce the inflammation in his injured right shoulder. He said there was a chance he could play tonight, but a decision wouldn't be made until before tipoff. He doesn't consider it a long-term problem.

"If (the Hawks) were one of the top teams, then I'd probably lean harder to play," Nash said. "But at the same time, I want to make the right decision regardless of who we're playing. Sometimes you can get a little misguided in your thought process when you start calculating who you're playing against at this point in the season."

Guard Raja Bell also sat out a portion of practice, getting treatment on his sore left knee.

IM SURE THE HAWKS TOOK NASH'S COMMENTS AS A SLAP IN THE FACE, BUT ITS THE HAWKS FOR GODS SAKE! OH WELL STILL HIT IT PRETTY GOOD, BUT AFTER READING THESE COMMENTS LAST NIGHT I KNEW IT WAS A WINNER. BIG MESSY NICE CALL ON NETS I DIDNT HAVE THE GUTS TO PUT A BUCK AGAINST MY C'S THATS THE CARDINAL SIN BUT LETS FACE IT THEY WANT ODEN BAD AND WILL TANK THE REST OF THE GAMES THIS SEASON WITH OR WITHOUT PIERCE..WE HAVE MADE IT CLEAR PUBLICLY IN PAPERS AROUND HERE THAT OUR GOAL IS TO GET ODEN OR DURANT SO RIGHT NOW WE LEAD THE RUNNING FOR THAT...
