Get to know everyone
Hey Guys....I know this might seem corny to some, but i thought it might be nice if guys could post some things about themselves so everyone could get to know each other a lil more....since we are the GP Family...
Maybe like....age, job, where you live, what you gamble on, how often...you know...
Hope to hear from you guys.

Single, live in Florida, early 30's in age, no kids (that I know of..might be a few in Vegas floatin around now) and love playing golf.
Any GPer's come through PCB and we'll take care of ya...just ask parley. We got this town wired with the hook ups.
Favorite Football: Chiefs and Trojans and whoever is playing the Raiders
Favorite Baseball: Royals and the College World Series (we got Como hooked on the CWS now..anyone want to meet us for golf and college baseball we'll be there again this year.)
Favorite hoops: ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK
Favorite Hockey: St. Louis Blues
Favorite Futbol: FC Bayern Munchen and the US Men's national team
Favorite MMA fighters: Fedor of Pride, Hughes and Swick and Fitch from UFC, Lindland from IFC.
Favorite Vegas Hotel: Whichever dive Como books us in.
Worst Vegas Hotel: Whichever dive Como books us in.
Favorite Wager...ML wager on dogs against the public in MLB.
Least Favorite Wager...women's boxing and cricket.
Most cocky about: MLB, UFC, and College hoops capping....the proof is in the numbers.
Most humble about: My short game in golf, my weakness in capping sides in football, and my inability to have stamina for the end game in a long poker tournament.
Reason I joined GP: because CBS was going to shit and Ricky created this haven for good "players."
Biggest mistakes I see rookie gamblers making:
Playing too many games
Chasing after a rough start in the day
Blindly pickriding
Blaming others for their own financial ineptitude in this game.
Favorite lines in my Gotpicks hall of fame:
Chat room....Asian Dude..."Guys, I can't seem to get in the chat."
Chat room....I'll leave anonymous..let's say his login is a popular video game from the 80's involving dots and ghosts..."I've hit 15 in a row and am not stoppin now."
Chat room..response to the 2nd one.."15 in a row my ass. go sell your shit somewhere else."
Most memorable Gotpicks argument I was involved in: Sunday and I's infamous Red Sox/Yanks game 7 argument.
Most memorable Gotpicks argument I saw: and I quote: "Multiple ID postin mutha$$%ers! You need to be shot and hung...twice!"
That's all I got...Cruzin..figured I'd answer and give ya some bio material.

Early 30’s, live in Richmond, VA with wife and son, work as financial analyst for fortune 500 co. Don’t wager big $ because I’m still trying to figure out what the hell I’m doing. Really only cap NCAAB and mess around with systems (had a good run in NCAAF 2 years ago).
Fav teams: Mets, Jets, Islanders, Knicks, when I cared about NBA (all due to growing up on LI). I’m running on a 20+ year championship drought.
Best Wager Ever: hitting the trifecta in the 03 Derby
Athlete most resemble: Bones Barry (nothing to be proud of)
Athlete dropped three triples on in HS: Wally World
Best sports moment in person: Todd Pratt’s NLDS series-ending walk-off in 99 off Matt Mantei
Best individual performance in person: Jameer Nelson vs Richmond the year they were #1 and had Delonte West. The guy was running circles around everyone and dropped 30+.
And since PC mentioned CWS: Favorite CWS player of all-time: Scott Stahoviak, 3B, Creighton, that guy did it all offensively and defensively, must have been right around 1990. The So Close, but Not Quite CWS Moment: ’02 Richmond team (worked there then) Game 3 of super regionals at Nebraska, tied in 7th inning. Just needed 1 more run and 6 more outs to get to Omaha.
Damn, now I’m just depressed. Thanks cruzin.

Spent a few years on the ponies and got serious w/ sports when the web took off and information was easily found. Learned alot from this site and will always be grateful.
Still working on some personal disciplines in this game those being:
limiting # of plays
chasing
going small on 'action plays'
Do feel I'm headed in the right direction though.

Whats good fellas !!!
On the name?
BP by thy name !!! Wagering with Discipline be thy game! Success be thy goal! BP has meant alot of different things through different stages in my life ... started many years back in high school ... today .. I simply like to say "BEYOND POTENTIAL" .. cause after all that is what we all should reach for ... BEYOND what is known as our POTENTIAL! Going BEYOND!!! And that is my outlook on Success!!! Being good in all we do !!! BP is a large family which I and another started back in high school, and has grown and molded into a much larger thing with time and maturity! Hence I kept the name BP or BP O. or BP "The Shark" O. ... that is what People call me ...
On the game?
Everything I talk of and/or preach has derived from me learning from my own personal mistakes! And I truly feel that I have found the TRUE SUCCESS in wagering. Picking WINNERS is only a piece of a large puzzle in being succesful in wagering. Now that I feel I do have the right mind set for success, and getting better with each and every day ... I like to try to make others better. I am no where near perfect, but I am damn good in a modest way! I own and run BallinPicks.com where I bring my Personal CONTROL and MONEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM with my selections. For more on my thoughts see my article http://www.gotpicks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4040&sid=a827f01b9fea1bdd81363619498460ee .
On me?
I reside in South Florida (Miami / Ft Lauderdale) .. where I am a man wearing a ring ... went to Florida International University where I got my Bachelors in Accounting & my Masters in Tax Law. Love HOME ... but also Love to travel and explore! Been to many places in the world. .. Just enjoy life all day and night!
Preference on a Saturday? To GOLF
Preference of Cigar? Macanudo Gold Label
Preference of Drink? Cuba Libre! (Captain & Coke with a Lime)
Preference of Meal? Filet Mignon or Porterhouse
Preference of Wine? Merlot
Preference of Vacations? VEGAS or a CRUISE!
My Teams? DIE HARD Steelers fan !!! (In Concrete) ... Marlins in MLB ... Heat in NBA ... College Sports are my PASSION as far as Handicapping ... but my teams vary year to year as I always find my favorite teams in wagering! (Example) 2005 CFB NAVY! 2006 CFB San Jose St ...
