NCAA picks for Sat. Jan. 27'th
Saturday Ranked @ Unranked
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006-7 Season:
Unranked Home Team vs Ranked Opponent (all records are ATS):
As a Favorite: 71.4% (15-6-1)
As a Dog of 0-3.5: 63.3% (19-11-1)
As a Dog of 4-9.5: 44.1% (15-19)
As a Dog of 10+: 64.7% (11-6-1)
Overall: 58.8% (60-42-3)
Unranked CONFERENCE Home Teams listed as Favorites are 14-2 ATS this year (87.5%)
SATURDAY'S GAMES: projected........
Butler @ Detroit (Butler will be favored)
UF @ Auburn (UF will be favored)
AF @ BYU (BYU should be favored) (boo)
USC @ Cal (USC should be favored)
Not many games for a Saturday, and I think the only one that will fall in the 14-2 ATS category is AF @ BYU as BYU should be favored.
Please add if you find any that were missed.
goodluck!

ATS::
Mo valley:43-12 ATS
Big XII: 22-14 ATS
Out of Conference 16-7 ATS (Won on USC under)
MO Valley GOW: 5-0 ATS
Big XII GOW: 3-1ATS
Out of Conference GOW: 1-0 ATS
MO VALLEY GOM: 3-1 ATS
Big XII GOM:1-1 ATS
Out of Conference GOM: 1-0 ATS
All right boys some quick thoughts before we get to work. I've noticed a lot of people now specializing in individual conferences..all I can say is...bout time$$$$ Glad to see peeps are learning you can't cap 149 college teams, but you can hit like a mofo on 12-24 of them Anyways, the college board has come a long way and I personally think it's one of the stronger threads in GP...anyways...good to see the college cappers coming out of the woodworks. You guys keep shootin it and do what you do best.
I've got a Game of the month that will be released on the Team Florida card. Here's the other three I got for ya and 3 of the 4 I'm playing:
Let's get to work:
Big XII:
Roll with me on Iowa State +12 @ Okie State. Okie State isn't 12 points better and ISU isn't that bad. The Clones are in rebuild mode under their new coach, but still have some good talent as every ISU team has. The Clones can match up both inside and outside with the Cowboys. I also don't see OKie State having an edge anywhere. This game might be an upset and it might be a blowout, but from what I know of the Big XII, ISU is gonna be just fine today in Gallagher-Iba.
ROLL WITH ME ON IOWA STATE +12 @ Okie State.
Big XII:
Roll with me on Kansas -27 @ home against Colorado. Have you been reading my posts on games @ CU? We have cashed 3 times playing against the Buffalos and we should again today. The recent play of Kahn inside, Rush taking charge and Julian Wright dominating spells trouble for the Buffs. Oh yeah, KU lost their last game out @ T Tech and have been in Bill Self's doghouse for their worst performance of the year. I see KU coming out on fire today and destroying the Buffalos.>I'm talkin one of those 94-45 kind of games....
ROLL WITH ME ON KU -27 @ home against Colorado
Big XII GOW:
That's right, a Game of the Month and a game of the week on the same day$$$$ I'm adding this as an edit at 8:35AM on saturday. I love this game and don't see any reason to not lay heavy on it.
ROLL WITH ME ON TEX A and M -10 @ home against Oklahoma. You heard me praise the sooners last week as we covered on them at home and then hit on the Bedlam under. But at 11-7 the Sooners are in trouble and 3-3 in the XII. In addition, they get the unfortunate event of playing A and M next.
Check this out...the Aggies have lost the last 14, yes the last 14 in a row to the Sooners. It's time for some payback. Oh yeah, did I throw in that A and M had their worst defensive game this year last week in the loss @ T Tech? You think Gillespie is gonna let that shit slide? Or how bout the fact that A and M has beaten every team at home this year by double digits except for 1? Pub has dropped the opening line from 10 1/2 to 10 and 9 1/2 in some spots. Don't buy the hype on OU being "desperate" for a big time win. Their season is starting to slip and when we talked of the now or never push 2 weeks ago..it lasted for 1 game. *(The one we won ATS)*
ROLL WITH ME ON A and M, Acie Law IV, Billy Coach of the Year Gillespie, and the Texas A and M Aggies to win us a 15+ cover at home against the overmatched Sooners...the under is a wonderful play as well but there is a possibility that the Aggies just absolutely roll them early, OU scraps the 1/2 court sets and starts to run and gun.
BIG XII GOW: Texas A and M aggies -10 @ home against Oklahoma.
All lines from Betcris.
Game of the Month will be posted on Team FLA...
leans _10-2-1 ATS on the year:
**I like SIU 1H under no matter what it is..I think 54 is what I saw this morning.
**I like Nebraska to stay inside the 7 1/2 today.
**I like Creighton and Indy state to go under the 128
**I like the Mizzou under today with T Tech..trap city on the over.
**I was in love with Mo state at -5 last night, up to -7....BE CAREFUL...lean is on Bradly + 7 1/2...they usually handle the bears.
GL players..look for Team FLA play posted by BP.
This is my final card:
Mo Valley GOM: 8 units..to be posted later on Team Florida.
Big XII GOW: 5 units...Texas A and M -10..will wait to see if I get 9 1/2 or lower with a local when they open.
Big XII regular play: Kansas -27...2 units
Big XII regular play: Iowa State +12 ..2 units
Pc's hoping for a Presidential Suite upgrade in Vegas 5 teamer:
Mo Valley GOM, Big XII GOW, ISU+12, Mizzou/Tech under 148 1/2, Nebraska +7
If I hit that 5 teamer, I'm throwing the party friday night in suite in Vegas opening week.
I might play on Northern Iowa -3 at drake..but please hold that thought. This is an instate rivalry game where NIU stands 2-0 against the state (wins over Iowa, Iowa State..Drake pending). Should be a no brainer but that is a real low line. Is Dr. Tom Davis of former Hawkeye fame laying a trap for the Panthers...I'll be back to comment on that later.

Dayton/Xavier Over 139.5
In Xavier’s A-10 games they avg 77 ppg (2nd), and at the Cintas Center (8-1) it is 80 and they shoot 50.5%. In their six A-10 games, Xavier has failed to hit 70 only once (65 at STL). Dayton on the road this year is 0-6 and in A-10 has given up 75 (#3 Off), 80 (#11), and 93 (#12) in its road games. Flyers are leading the A-10 in FG% (51%), and the teams that are #2 and #3 scored 82 and 77 vs Xavier. In their 4 A-10 wins, Xavier has held team below their A-10 avg though, and they should win this game. I see Dayton getting upper 60’s, and Xavier around 80, maybe 79-68. Stat: Over 20-7 L27 Xavier home games.
Temple –4 (bought half)
Dukes actually with the better conference record at 2-4 vs 1-4. Better teams in the league this year (kinda like it is now) are URI (surprisingly), UMass, Xavier and GW. Temple has played 3 of these teams, Duquesne only 1. Both teams giving up 82 ppg in A-10, however in Temple’s 5 games, they have faced the top 4 offenses. Duquesne has faced 3 of the top 5, and then Temple is right there at #6 at 75ppg. Dukes are 12th at 69 ppg. Also, Temple is only 2-6 on the road, but those losses have been UMass, Xavier, Duke, Villanova, Kent State, Penn. Overall their sos is around 38th, Duquesne’s is 126th. I also like that Duquesne is coming off a win vs previously 13-5 Dayton.
Also, PatsFan, not sure if you know but Drexel's leading scorer is suspended for the game vs VCU today.
Why is that Hofstra line a Pick now? I don't get that.
