  3. NCAA Play of the Day (3-0) +3 units

Kinda strapped to one game today due to the fact that most the today games involve teams that I don't even know what conference they play in... Today i'm gonna put a play on Charlotte +4.5. The way i see this one is these teams are very similar... The key to each ones wins is their play on defense, and when they don't play defense the don't win or cover... I see a lot of value in this inflated line. I think Vegas looked at these teams then looked at the records and moved the line up due to that, St. Louis boasts a 12-7 record but there not a whole lot that's impressive on there schedule... Charolette holds an 8-9 record and that difference is why lines makers have bumped this line up... Take the value tonight and play on Charlotte +4.5

  4. Hey Slam. Just an FYI brotha.

The Billikens are getting shooting guard Kevin Lisch back just in time to stop a two-game skid and keep from dropping five of their last seven. The 6-foot-2 sophomore missed the last game and a half due to a strained calf.

Lisch’s 13.3 points per game is good enough for second on the team but it is his defensive abilities that make him a vital part of Saint Louis’ lineup. He is the team’s shut-down defender and he was missed in last weekend’s 77-68 loss to Fordham.

Keep up the great work Slam 3-0 baby

  5. Light board for me as there is no Big XII or Valley, but I do have a nice total play on the Pac 10 tonight. It will be "released" with the rest of team florida...have a good one players.

    Props Time:

Slam..great 3-0 start bro..keep up the good work.

Hilly..nice work last night, keep it up.

Teeks...enjoy the posts and the write up. Great logic on your plays.

All the rest..keep postin and great job making this board one of the better threads in all of internet land. I was bored and went back to check the ATS record of this board and we were just under 67% for the last 4 days. That is by far the best ATS record of any college hoops thread (all inclusive) that I checked on four sites...covers.com, winningsportsplays.com, vegasinsider.com, suresportsbets.com.

Great job guys...Gotpicks is killing the man in college this year. Let's all keep it up and enjoy a GP vacation on the books for NFL opening weekend.

  6. My pick for the day is:

    Washington -3 1/2

Brooks, the Pac-10’s leading scorer (18.4 ppg), will sit out Thursday’s game due to penalties stemming from last season’s Pac-10 Tournament

The Ducks will also be without center Adam Zahn, who is out with a concussion. Zahn is averaging 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game and would have been key in shutting down Washington’s star freshman, Spencer Hawes.

  10. Here's the report for Thursday.

UPDATED: after 4-3 Wed night...but ...stay away or fade the 3-9.5 dogs and you improve odds/wins. ...

    2006-7 Season:

Unranked Home Team vs Ranked Opponent (all records are ATS):

    As a Favorite: 67.5% (13-6-1)

    As a Dog of 0-3.5: 65% (19-10-1)

As a Dog of 4-9.5: 45% (15-18) (BECAREFUL OF THESE......)

    As a Dog of 10+: 63.8% (11-6-1)

    Overall: 58.9% (58-40-3)

Unranked CONFERENCE Home Teams listed as Favorites are 12-2 ATS this year (85.7%)

    4 games for Thursday w/ 2 FAVS

    Butler @ LoyChi +3

    UCLA @ Cal +6

    USC @ Stanford -1.5

    Ore @ Wash -4

Stanford -1.5 and Washington -4 would fall into the 85 % 12-2 category.

some factors should be looked over.

    1) Washington is 11-1 @ home this year, 0-6 on the road

    2) Washington has won each year in Seattle since '01.

    3) Oregon starting point guard Aaron Brooks will not play this evening due to a suspension. Last year in the Pac-10 conference tournament, he threw a foreman (sheesh- strong guy) to the throat of Husky guard Ryan Appleby and was suspended 3 games by the conference. He served 1 game in the tournament semifinal vs. Cal, 1 game in the season opener @ home and will serve the final game this evening. Brooks is well on his way to being either 1st or 2nd in Pac-10 player of the year voting and undoubtedly will get some All-American votes by year's end.

    Goodluck!
