OK IONA hasn't come closer then 9pt margin in any of there 14 losses this year yet they are only +4.5 tonight against Manhattan who has won there last 3 games. Going out on a limb here thinking Manhattan covers tonight.

    What am I missing??

    Manhattan -4.5 I may bite.

Remember what I said in the forum last week .. FADE IONA every game .. you will do well ... I have this year ... they have covered ONCE ... Something along the lines of 1-11 or something ... Just fade. win or lose, you do good overall ... UNLESS they suddenly get their shit together!

Hey, anyone notice my 11 unit win on Hofstra last night. 3 units on spread and 2 more on +400. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes! :D

    2 for tonight:

Penn -5 (Much better team here that has played some tough games already. Cornell has beaten the likes of Stony Brook, Army, VMI, Colgate, Ithaca and NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology has a hoops team??)

Manhattan -4.5 (I won't mention the opponent BP but the other team only has 7 scholarship players available b/c of injuries and 2 of them almost never play)

    Princeton/Columbia Over 103.5

I think now that Princeton gets into league play where teams are familiar with their style, they’ll start giving up a few more points. Columbia seems to have faired pretty well against it in the past few years. Last year, Columbia won 65-64 at home and lost 64-68 on the road. Checking those boxscores, 4 of the 5 starters are back for the Columbia team that succeeded against that style. Games totaled 129 and 132, so we’re getting 25+ compared to the current total. I guess when you give up 28 points in the prior game though, you’re gonna see a low total.

In the last six meetings, neither team has scored fewer than 52 points.

    C 65-64 = 129

    P 68-64 = 132

    P 68-59 = 127

    P 63-53 = 116

    P 75-52 = 127

    P 78-71 = 149

Over is 15-7 L22 Ivy League games for Columbia.

Over is 7-1 L8 Friday games for Princeton. I didn’t have Covers.com or anything at work when I wrote this, but I checked the Princeton schedule and it looks like they only played one Friday game this year that would have been lined (unless game vs ND State had a line). So in that case, I guess you could also say that the Over is 6-1 in Princeton’s last 7 Ivy League games.

One bad thing to look at though is that since their second game, Princeton hasn’t given up over 57 points. Again, I hope this is due to teams being unfamiliar with their style. Maybe these smart Ivy Leaguers can figure it out.

    GL.

    A-10: 4-5-1

    Other: 4-4

I had to look long and hard at this one because I personally believe it's a very hard game to cap.

    Let's start with trends:

Creighton has won the last 6 games in the series Straight Up. Creighton has been on a roll since Mo Valley play with big wins against Missouri State and throttling Drake and Evansville. They did lose to Indy state at Indy state but that's not a slip this year. The Sycamores have won us money 3 times this year at home and I'm sure we'll be playing on them again.

Anyways..I'm rollin on Creighton +3 @ Northern Iowa.

Here's why..and I had to call the Creighton Alumni I know to dig on this one. My question was this...how can UNI not win this game after a big loss to Illinois State? How can they not revenge 6 straight losses?

Well, I heard a great point. Creighton matches up very well with UNI in that they play the same style with Creighton being a little quicker. What's scary is that UNI is such a good shooting team at home. But I am going to back Creighton in this spot.

ROLL WITH ME ON CREIGHTON +3 @ UNI

I am also playing 1H under 57..and it's droppin so get it quick.

I am also playing under 123

I am also playing Creighton ML +135

I am only counting Creighton on my posted record.

I will also roll with Billz on blind faith..if you don't what an HFA is..you better axe someone!

    GL fellas...Let's roll
