NCAA Picks for Wed, Jan. 10
What a fu-king joke! Rookie, you should have known that Wisky play was a loser when you saw I was on the same game! You know my teams always find a way to lose or not cover a spread! We had no business losing that one! How about this: Make a damn free throw!
PC, I haven't been following a whole lot of college hoops until now, but keep it rolling! I'll shut up now b/c I can curse anyone! As a matter of fact, forget I said anything! GL!

1-0 on my first Big East post going against the Irish, but they still got the win. What more could I ask for.
I think there was someone else on here that also followed the big east (and the colonial, i think) and hopefully he'll come back. I'll try to focus my efforts on the BE only and see how i do.
Thanks to everyone else for the solid picks. PC, keep rolling.

Fellas I 'm posting now because I think the line will move on us....
BIG XII GOW:
Roll with me on Oklahoma State + 8 1/2 @ Kansas. THis is a huge big XII showdown early in conference play. The Suttons always play the Hawks tough and this year's okie state squad is already battle tested with a big win against Cuse at MSG and 2 other quality wins. You guys know I love the Jayhawks but this is way too big a line and I have already booked it. DON'T SEND ME AN EMAIL SAYING THE LINE IS WRONG IF YOU WAIT TO BOOK THIS.

OKLAHOMA STATE-8 1/2 -110
KANSAS+8½-110
Missouri Valley Play:
Roll with me on WIchita State under 135. You'll see defense from both sides. I'm worried about OT..but I think we see a game in the 120's.
Good luck players.
I will be off picks on Thursday. I thought today's card was Thursday's, but we can't pass on these opportunities.
Leans (7-2 ATS but not counting on posted)
Cuse to cover the 7 against Rutgers
Texas/Mizzou to go over 154
Bradley/SIU under 136
GL boyz..last post til Saturday...hope we close the midweek strong.

1st, I lost last night with Wisconsin...congrats to the Buckeye backers....you could say they made a great comeback or that the Badgers collapsed at the end, but either way, it is a ATS loss in my book
On to my Wednesday Big 10/11 college basketball play...
I looked at the 3 games that are on the slate for tonight and they each have an angle that could be played, but I think my strongest play (and the one I'll post for the record) is:
Indiana vs Purdue, 4pm PST
Purdue (12-4, 8-4 ATS, 7-1 ATS @home, 1-3 ATS Away)
Indiana (10-4, 6-5 ATS, 4-4 ATS @home, 2-1 ATS Away)
Purdue is:
2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games
2-4 ATS in their last 6 games against Indiana
2-5 ATS in their last 7 games on the road against Indiana
Purdue's last 2 games:
1/6 64-60 win against Penn St at home
1/3 59-65 loss at Minnesota
Indiana last two games:
1/7 73-51 win against Michigan St
1/2 67-74 loss at Ohio State
While Purdue had some impressive early season victories at Oklahoma, home against DePaul and Missouri, they have progressively gotten worse over the last month.
In quite the opposite direction, Indiana has really started to click as a team and I expect them to continue tonight against Purdue.
The 17,456 fans at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, IN should help this team win by double digits...good luck to all!
In case you were wondering, the other plays that I was considering were:
Iowa (+9) at Illinois (I'll ride the dogs against Illinois until they can prove they can cover again...they are 2-7 ATS at home)
Northwestern/Michigan State Over 114 1/2 (I see this total in the 120's)

Big 10 record 2-1

Since I haven't lost a Big East game all season (I'm 1-0), I have another pick for tonight...
My Big East Play for the Day -
Hit with a nice backdoor cover by WVU last night and the Irish still got the win. On to tonight.
Four BE games on the slate with a couple of tempting lines. My play for the day:
Louisville -3 (bought the hook)
Potential trap? Maybe. But I'll take my chances. Line is low b/c of UL's blowout loss to ND last week, who played their perfect game. While S. Florida is a team on the rise (not saying much - they couldn't get worse, could they?), and also a formidable opponent at home, I like Louisville to break out of their slump tonight. Pitino has been trying many different things to get this team to click. I think they will benefit from not having played since last Wednesday when they got blown out by ND and the extra practice time. Looking for Louisville to win by 7+.
Some other thoughts...
Other BE games look tempting but be careful with UConn (they are very young and Marquette has the potential to play with anyone) and Pittsburgh (do for a letdown? I don't think so but Depaul has some scorers and play very well at home as well). I think the second best play in the BE might actually be Syracuse, who will look to roll at the RAC, which isn't what it used to be. Rutgers wil struggle with the Syracuse zone.
GL to all.
