NCAA picks for Tuesday, January 9th
My Tuesday college basketball play...
Ohio State (13-2, 8-5 ATS, 6-3 ATS @home, 2-2 ATS Away)
Wisconsin (15-1, 8-3 ATS, 5-3 ATS @home, 3-0 ATS Away)
Ohio State is coming off a road win at Illinois and Wisconsin is coming off of a win at home against Minnesota.
The badgers have held opponents to an average of 58 points at home so far this season and their offense has average 77 points at home.
The #4 Bucky Badgers are off to their best start since 1916.
Also, the Buckeye's will still be shell shocked from watching their football team get crushed by Florida.
I will go with Wisconsin (-4) over Ohio State. The Kohl Center and 17,000 frenzied fans will be rocking...good luck to all!

My first college play of the season:
WISCONSIN -4 (not stealing any thunder from the_rookie, but this game stands out to me; the Badgers get the Bucks in a nice spot here; I totally agree that the game last night will have an effect on the Buckeyes tonight; the Badgers have been extremely tough at home in recent years, and I love Big Ten home teams in big games (b/c they usually win)

Here's why I'm on this play..the novice will look at the last 6 matchups and see they have all been tight affairs with Baylor winning outright as a dog in 2 of the 6. Did you know Baylor has covered the last 6 in the series ATS? Why Chris, are you rolllin the other way?
well, for those that have read my posts this year, you know I'm more worried about Tex A and M than anyone else to take down my Jayhawks in the XII. The line is right where it should be for a linesmaker, but I still have A and M to win by double digits. Pub is split on the game as well. PC...Baylor's 10-4 this year? Are you kidden me...I just watched South Carolina get thrashed by my Jayhawks at their gym ($$$$) as a 7 point dog and they can beat the Bears by 5 as a dog? A and M is a monster and if anyone watched the UCLA game, you know that team is legit. They had the lead most of the game and lost by one possession.
It could still be a trap and that's the only reason I'm not laying GOW money on it...but

Mo Valley:
Roll with me on UNI/Ill. State under 56 1H.
Again, we got a Valley defensive Juggernaut going against a team in the Valley that plays good defense at home. Just a normal sized play for me, but in the past, these games are usually low scoring with a UNI cover. I tried responding Honicky to your email on the side....GL....does look good but the line is awful fishy.
I'm on the two above and not counting on posted record but I will continue to play Ohio State as a dog on the road until they lose me money. You could very well be on the right side Rookie and Jdelt as it does look good and I don't cap the X much, but I can't go against O State and Jdelt, I'm surprised your Ohio loyalty is on Cheesehead points.
GL boyz...will take a couple of days off this week. As always, I appreciate the compliments, PM's, and support fellas...just glad we're hitten.

Playing the following Big East game for tonight:
PLaying West Virginia getting the 6 pionts from ND. Hate to go against my school, but WVU has always played ND well. ND lost its starting point guard who got arrested for possession of weed, and although his replacement is quick and looks like he'll be solid, he's still a freshman. And his lack of an outside shot hurt the Irish on Saturday against Georgetown. Anyway, Irish may still win this game, but I'll take the pionts with a WVU that is 3-0 in the BE and already knocked off UConn.

I'll see how this goes. I haven't gotten into college hoops yet with football still going on but usually follow the Big East pretty closely.
