Didnt' get a chance to post yesterday but here are my playoff picks for today:
New England -8.5
Giants +7.5
The Jets have managed to beat the Pats outright in the rain up in Foxboro and also kept the game misleading close in their first matchup. Well, it's the playoffs now and the Jets have no one to run the ball. Foxboro will be a true test and I can't see Pennington stepping up to the plate. New England's Defense will be tight as hell and the jets will struggle to put points on the board.
In the other game, the Giants won outright in a game they shouldn't have. Then the eagles win by double digits in a game that was a lot closer than the final score. In the second game, i think the g-men had something like 3 turnovers, which proved costly. Well, as we've seen in these division matchups, 7 points is too much to be giving for two teams that know each other so well. The Giants could easily win this game outright. Look for Tiki to get alot of touches, especially passes in the backfield. I think coughlin will become a little conservative to protect pretty boy Eli, which could hurt the Giants, but will hopefully limit his turnovers. This will be a barn burner adn I just think the last team with the ball wins it.
GL to all.
BTW, I was 1-1 on my plays yday (not posted). Guess I should have taken Seattle on the ML, damn bastards. Oh well.

first post of the new year---
NFL
PATS -7.5 (BOUGHT 1 POINT) -- 20 UNITS-- I am loving this play more and more--pats at home in january are pretty damn good coupled with 1 of the best playoff qb's-- and bellicheck wants to beat this " man-genius" as they call him more than people realize--besides r harrison pats are very healthy and i like them here in the revenge spot to win by at least 7-17 points---
G-MEN +7 -- 20 UNITS--- Call me crazy-- but i finally think the slipper falls off of the eagles and J Garcia's shoe today-- G-MEN have been playing well below their capabilities and i expect them to go out on a limb for TIKI AND YES COUGHLIN---no strahan only thin that hurts them here-- but expect eli to have burress all day in 1on 1 coverage as the eagles and jimmie johnson will try to pressure eli to jar him--giants move on--
G-MEN ML + 250 -- Like above i think g-men pull this out and move on--
3 plays on the day and of course ridin the MV STUD with PATS/JETS UNDER 38
GL TO ALL AND MAKE SOME FUCKING MONEY

Giants +7
Giants/Phi under 45.5
7 points is too many to be giving in a game between two mediocre teams (sorry philly fans). As we saw yesterday, teams are tight in 1st Q and should go under as well.
Also 7pt Teasing Giants +14/Pats -1.5
GL!

Too many points in my opinion on both favorites. Both dog teams have proven themselves at times over the season and I can see both covering these high spreads.
NYJ +9
NYG +7 4 units each (5 unit play system)
GL All, looking forward to kicking back and kicking some bookie ASS!!!!!!

i'm taking the JETS +9.5
the Pat's tackling has been poor against the run in the last few weeks and if they miss Washington he will make them pay,i feel Mangini will play it very conservatively and try to keep it tight early because if they get behind it could get embarassing
in the late game i go for PHILLIE -6
the giants only hope is for Tiki to have another game like last week and i don't think thats gonna happen, in the previous encounters this season he has gone for 51yds and 75 yds that won't be anywhere near good enough tonight i'm looking for Westbrook and Buckhalter to put up nice yardage and put the Eagles on the road to New Orleans
