SAN DIEGO (16 - 10) at ATLANTA (12 - 12): Play On The Atlanta Braves -123 6
5/4/2004 6:35:00 PM Tuesday, 5/4/2004 ADAM EATON (R) vs. RUSS ORTIZ (R) Eaton has not been very sharp his last three giving up 24 hits and 12 runs over his last 18IP. Ortiz has been less than spectacular in his last three but has dominated the Padres over his career. ORTIZ is 11-2 when starting against SAN DIEGO with an ERA of 3.66 and a WHIP of 1.372. His team's record is 12-5 (+4.3 units) in these starts. We also have a couple strong trends that support Atlanta in this spot. ATLANTA is 36-8 (+25.6 Units) against the money line after having lost 3 of their last 4 games over the last 3 seasons. ORTIZ is 10-2 (+7.2 Units) against the money line in home games when working on 5 or 6 days rest over the last 3 seasons. (Team's Record) Atlanta has been up and down on their recent west coast swing while San Diego has won 6 of thier last 7 as they head out on the road. Atlanta will want to get this homestand off to a good start. I will back Ortiz and company as our 6 Star Play Of The Day as a 4.5% Play.

second time in less than a week that a team has cost me big $$$. i had a 7 team parlay going last nite ..10>2319.... the tigers were up by 6-2 and that &&^%$ pitcher al levine for the tigers let the disneyland players come back and win it by 2.... damn damn damn... i was counting my money already.. this one i had to cry 
for a longgggggg time. yeah i play both my picks and came out ahead, 1-1 for the night with +120 to show but it should of been more...auggggg... today i only have one game!!!chicago white sox-116...this is cheap for a pitcher whos 5-0 3.71era vs Dubose 3-2 3.06. i believe Loaiza is still not getting the credit due him by vegaslines makers.
ps ... sundaybreak... no im not trying to pick fun of my cappers here on the board... its just fun because i know bozo like his astros and i like my giants and you must like your baltimore... root , root , root for your home team... like the song said... take me out to the ball game.....hahahahha

Sorry for the Cubbies under, after Dollar clued me in,that papa should have come in. Here's my total plays for today, waiting on sides to see movement.
NBA:
Minny/Sac under 194....great defense by minny, low scoring trends historically between these two, and the public is all over the over.
MLB:
Orioles/White Sox under 8.....Loaiza and Dubose are two quality pitchers. You know about Loaiza, you'll know more about DuBose as this rook continues to impress. PLAY ON UNDER
Yankees/A's over 8 1/2....Contreras was solid in his last start and we all know Mulder can shut anyone down. I like the over in this as both teams bats have been hot and the Yankees have been pounding the ball during their 6 game winning streak. I also have a small play on the Yanks. PLAY ON OVER
Braves/Padres over 8 1/2...As a fantasy baseball player, I own Ortiz in three leagues and have followed him since he came over from the Giants. He pitches well in spots, but will have trouble with the talented Padres lineup. Turner is a pitcher's park, but this game will go over. Eaton is a tough pitcher but I like the over due to public % on the under. PLAY ON UNDER
