PC'S POST SEASON PLAYS

Last year we did 6-1 in the NFL post season. I'll have one play each day there is post season NFL up until the Super Bowl.

Here's my play for this weekend:

Roll with me on under 51 in Kansas City/Indy.

A serious high total that is justified with two explosive offenses. However, let's do some digging.

A logical look at the game says Herm Edwards trys to win by keeping Indy's explosive offense off the field. How do you do that? A steady diet of Larry Johnson left, Larry Johnson right, LarryJohnson up the gut. I have watched every Chiefs game this year and what we don't have that we had in the Vermiel regime is the big play offense. The KC offense is still good, but since Al Saunders moved on to San Diego, our offense is good, but not explosive. However, the KC line (all of which have been to at least 1 pro bowl) is one of the best in football, as is LJ at the RB spot. Indy will have Bob Sanders back, but that doesn't mean much. I"m tellin ya right now that KC will run at will against the Colts.

Indy is also a team that can manage the clock. IF they have the big lead on KC, they will grind out the 7 minute drives and eat lots of clock. 51 is a big number for a game where one team will rely on the run and the other will be fighting to get on the field. Let's not forget the Chiefs new look defense with Surtain, Madison, Ty Law, and Greg Wesley in the secondary is very underrated. Yes, Jville put up 30 in the season finale, but the Chiefs were coasting and playing prevent.

The under 51 is myfirst NFL post season.

GL and let's roll

KC/Indy under 51 for me..already booked and ready to go.

All right, we hit on the Chiefs under...let's go with another under.

Roll with me on New England/Jets under 38. This is not a Strong play for me but I think the best bet on the board. I like New England to cover the big number, but will they get to 38? Mangini will keep it low, but the Pats pull away in the 2nd half.

GL...not a big write up today because I"m not huge on this one.

ROLL WITH ME ON NEW ENGLAND UNDER 38

    GL boyz.

    1-1 ATS ON THE SEASON

I have just one play this weekend. I am very sold on over 47 in San Diego/New England. These two teams are gonna stage an epic shoot out. Very similar to last year's Seattle/Car game. 1H goes way under and 2H turns into a shootout.

ROLL WITH ME ON OVER 47 in Week 2 of the NFL Playoffs. Patriots will continue to play the no huddle and the Chargers will be chomping at the bit to light up the Pats secondary.

    GL>..let's roll.

Here's my final NFL card for this weekend:

    Saturday:

Roll with me on Indy/baltimore under 42.

If anyone watched the Indy/KC game you noticed that a healthy Dwight Freeney and the return of Bob Sanders shut down the potent KC offense. You can't tell me that Jamal Lewis, Steve Mcnair and Todd Heap are gonna light up this defense. Inversely, after seeing Peyton's 3 picks, factor in the cold weather and one of the best defenses of this decade..and I think you see an easy under.

ROLL WITH ME ON BALTIMORE UNDER 42

    Sunday:

As posted, the over in San Diego/New England again seems too easy. Both of these teams can score in a hurry. Both have injuries...no Rodney harrison which is huge for the Pats. Phillip Rivers and marty Schottenheimer be damned...this game will go over the total. You've all seen how quickly Brady can get in the end zone. I believe the game flows with SD taking a two score lead in the 1H..patriots come back with fireworks..I fully expect this game to be in the 55-60 point range and the most entertaining one offensively of the weekend.

ROLL WITH ME ON SAN DIEGO/NEW ENGLAND OVER 46 1/2..(I posted and bet it at 47 has gone down a 1/2 point)

    GL boyz..see ya next weekend.

I am also playing Mrlasvegas's game and hooking them up in a 3 teamer.

    Let's roll Boyz.

PC's Post Season Record: 2-1 ATS

    Sunday play:

    Over 46 1/2 in New England/Diego..

    2-2 ATS so far....

    AFC CHAMPIONSHIP:

Roll with me on Indy/New England over 47 1/2. I think one of the two teams will take a two score lead and force the other to play catchup virtually all game. Both teams like running the no huddle to keep the opposition's defense in the same sets. Both kickers are capable of making the long 40 yarders we will need for the over.

Peyton and Brady both coming off subpar games. For BOTH teams, this is a much easier defense (and much more familiar defense) than they have played so far in the playoffs. Looks too good to pass up.

ROLL WITH ME ON OVER 47 1/2

    NFC CHAMPIONSHIP:

Katrina factor marketing machine cranks up the Saints + 2 1/2. I really think the NFL wants New Orleans in the Super Bowl. And they have the talent to be there. I just can't see Rex getting it done this game. That Bears defense is not the same..ask any bears fan. The key injuries were exposed by Seattle and from what I hear, Weather is not going to be a big issue. Reggie, Duece, Brees, and the trio of Colston, Henderson, and Copper spells trouble. I like the over in this game too, but will continue to roll on my personal piggy bank in the NFL this season, the Saints. I don't play them all the time, but I bet on them often and early and they failed to disappoint. Some call it a trap, other call the Bears "easy" but i think this will be a classic game. Bears might win, but it might be by 1 or 2 points on a late Robbie Gould fieldgoal. Oh yeah, look at the futures odds on betcris..even though the bears are at home, they have the longest odds of the final four to win the Lombardi...kinda funny isn't it? At home, #1 seed and they are the longshot....hhhhmmm??? Katrina factor will show it's ugly head again Sunday.

ROLL WITH ME ON NEW ORLEANS SAINTS + 2 1/2

    GL players..

Well guys 3-3 ATS so far in the playoffs....and I'm very disappointed in myself....lost two of em in the final minute but no excuses.

My NFL TOTAL OF THE YEAR:

Roll with me on under 48 1/2 in Super Bowl XXXI. The Colts high octane offense will have trouble on the natural grass. Look at indy at home vs. on the road. Ask the Saints how a high octane offense did on grass against the Bears defense. I'm tellin ya right now the 1H under is money and the game under is money. Bears offense will have trouble as well against Bob and Freeney. I really like this total and am going large on it. I love the 1h Under as well.

    PC's last 2 plays:

NFL TOTAL OF THE YEAR..under 48 1/2 in the Super Bowl already booked.

    other play...1H under 24 +105

GL boyz..I really think this will be your winner for the total.

have a good one and again, sorry I couldn't duplicate last year's 6-1..I will pickride Vegas on the side as I'm lost on that.

Total Post Season Record: 4-4 ATS with GOY hitten.

Just not good enough boyz. Congrats to all who had another great year.

Take care and Vegas...let's roll Arena Style.
