NBA Picks for Fri, Dec. 29

Man, I just can't get it right! I posted the Spurs in the afternoon, and then realized at the end of the night that I forgot to put it in! And I guess we needed the stinking points with the Suns last night (and once again, I will start the talk: The Phoenix Suns WILL NOT win a championship playing the way they do, unless of course, they snag someone like Tim Duncan (which of course, will never happen)! Moving on (all teams under .500 on my slate for the day, but I think we have some W's waiting):

BOSTON +9.5 (PUNCHOUT)

CHARLOTTE +5

TORONTO +2

ATLANTA +8

PHILADELPHIA +5.5

L.A. CLIPPERS -2 (they have been sticking it to me all year, but I think I got them in the right spot here)

Waiting on three more lines for another possible play or two

  3. I usually get heavy on the NBA in February on..but I like this one enough to play and post:

    ROLL WITH ME ON Denver -3 1/2 @ New Orleans.

    With New Orleans missing some big guns, I think the Nuggets have found a little offensive groove since AI has come over. They penetrate much more than they used to and the outside shooting has been better because of it. I have Denver winning this one by 7+

  4. Philly/Portland over 185.5

    They played to a total of 160 earlier in the year. I think that's giving some value to this # as neither team has a great defense allowing about 98 pts ea per game. Portland also has been scoring much better @ home this year,

    YTD NBA = 2-4
