Sir Cherokee # 8, 15-1 Nothing big here but the horse has struggled with Terry Thompson on board. So they have decided to use Calvin Borel for this race. The horse has talent as we all now, so it cant be no worse.

Race 10 ( Kentucky Derby ) $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Shit I dont know where to start, and if I write to long, the race might be over by the time you finish this book. So here we go. Here are some things that you can take to the BANK !!!!!!!!!!!!

# 15 Smarty Jones WILL NOT make the distance. WILL NOT !!!!!!!!!

# 10 Imperalism and # 11 Cliffs edge will battle early and often. Watch for the pinball effect to come into place around these numbers. If these 2 horses were seperated, they BOTH would contend !!!!!!!!

# 18 Tapit is in a good spot at 18, if there is such a thing that high, but the horse will use a lot of energy b/c of speed on each side of him !!!

# 11 Cliffs Edge is the favorite. Enough said !! A favorite hasnt won the Derby in many years and I dont see that trend breaking this year with all of the talent in the field !!

# 6 Friends Lake is a DEAD CLOSER and starting in the 6 spot could give this horse a little edge. Migliore is one of the most under rated jocks in the field and he always gives his ponies GOOD trips !!!!!

Sooooooooooooo, with some side notes that I have spoken about, it's time to get to the contenders and leave the pretenders alone !!!!!!!!!

Boys, there is a horse in here that I am not fond of, but after looking at the post positions and his speed, we might have another Funny Cide, with a picture perfect trip. That horse is # 3 Lionheart. Excellent horse with speed and the drawback that I have on the horse is this, he steers right on breaks and if he does that today, his ass is toast, BUT, if he gets a clean break, the closest horse to him that has any kind of speed is the # 8 horse Master David and I look for Master David to be in a stalking mode, so he wont fight hard early.

I am going to throw out every horse starting in the 12 or higher post EXCEPT 1 and hope that the 130 year history comes to end. He will be my UPSET ALERT !!! This horse is # 13 Birdstone. Are you fuckin kidding me a 50-1 on this horse after he had one of the fasest time trials from ANY 3 year old about 2 months ago. The horse did fall off, but look for the always dangerous Nick Zito to have this baby pumped and primed ( with juice ) for action. I have GOTS to take a shot at a SOLID 50-1 longshot !! I love this horse to hit the board somewhere !! I hope and remember he is a long shot !!!

I also like # 8 Master David to make some noise. This is one of the most consistent 3 year olds on the board. What you see is what you get and if he runs this same style, he very well could be your winner after all the other colts fight and argue, he will just quietly kiss there ass good bye late !!
