Hi Guys,
Until this morning I was thinking Florida State. But when you break it down and look at the team numbers (offensive and defensive), personnel, and matchups, it becomes more obvious to me that UCLA is the pick. Especially when only giving up a FG.
I don't think that Weatherford gives the Seminoles the best chance to win. He's less mobile and has thrown almost as many interceptions (10) as TDs (11). FSU's inept offense (73rd in total offense) will struggle to score against UCLA's defense (12th in nation vs. run, 89.9 ypg, 6th with 39 sacks). We'll probably see Lee in the game before it's over.
This game will be a defensive battle where special teams may make the difference. The advantage goes to UCLA in the kicking game. Florida State's kicker Gary Cismesia is only 11-for-17 on FG attempts this season and has gone 0-for-4 in the Seminoles last three games. On the other side, Justin Medlock led nation with 26 FGs and only four misses. My suggestion is to book UCLA at -3.
UCLA -3

Fellas..I'm not the best at college football..but here's my card for today:
Mo Valley: Bradley/UNI over 137 1/2
Out of Conference GOM is posted with write up in NCAA hoops.
NCAA football: I'm rollin ML on the Noles. Bobby gets it done today with some razzle dazzle old school FSU football that we haven't seen in two years. Word out of Tallahassee is you'll see the playbook opened up which would hint at a over play as well.
GL whatever your on.
Cmon Xavier...take advantage of those overzealous Ends from the Bruins.

Congrats to ALL Central Michigan backers as we were able to cruise to another victory in this years bowl games !! Backdoor had me worried there for a minute, but ya gots to have confidence $$
Looks like there will be NO break in the action as we get ready for the Seminoles and the Bruins. Another interesting matchup to say the least.
Florida State comes in after a very disappointing season. Boy we thought they really sucked after Wake Forest BLEW them out of the house huh ? But then we realized that Wake Forest has a football team that will knock you in the mouth. To say the least, the lesser Bowden was basically forced to resign and that didn't set well with Big Daddy. A lot frustration comes into play, all in one game. Here's some good news for you guys >
Florida State as a dog this year ***** 2-0
Florida State will be playing in their 25th straight bowl game and their last visit to the west coast boasted a nice 14-7 win over USC. The Seminoles have always traveled well since there is nothing more than a bunch of showboats on their sub-par squad.
Taking the Wake game out of consideration, the Noles have 5 loses by a total of 26 points, about 5+ points per game.
UCLA is coming in on a high as they feel they have already won the Championship with their upset victory over the Trojans.
Coach Dorrell is 1-2 in Bowl games, while the Bruins have a short journey up the coast for this contest.
Final Thought *
I won't set here and talk about players, no need to, but the question that must be asked, is UCLA really worthy of FG chalk agianst the Noles ??
NO, in my opinion. The Bruins will be facing back to back teams giving up the speed factor and we all know when players fly to the ball what happens. You key to the game ---- MICKEY ANDREWS.
I don't see Florida State having a losing season and I look for the players to re-group against a sub-par UCLA attack. As strange as it sounds, if UCLA wins, I don't beleive they will cover the spread. Just not happening boys !! The Noles keep games close and this one will be no different !!!
My selection **
Florida State + 3 ( Don't buy no hook, your wasting money more times than not )
Good Luck on all your wagers !!!

terrible last 3 days-- looking to have a nice huge turn-around tonight-
bowls(3-4)--
UCLA -3 --- HUGE HUGE HUGE-- largest bet of the bowl season so far-- i cant see florida st staying within this number as UCLA is by far the better team here-- UCLA got hot towards the end of the year and no bigger game for them was beating the Trojans and knocking them off the national title chase---They want this game bad and i believe win this by 10--
nba--
Detroit -5 -- Detroit is hot winning there last 5 and come against a knick team that is pathetic at home--even though they won a couple at the mecca the last couple of times out-- get jeffries back tonight but i dont think it matters here-- det wins by 12
minny/toronto ov 188--
strong lean on under in bowl game but no action yet
