Guys, it's the Christmas season and I want to tell you a story about 2 GPer's.
Let's start with background...as many of you know, I met most of the GP cats on the CBS board...Como, Billz, Parley123, Sundaybreak, Ricky, JTmoney etc..and then as the CBS board started kicken out winners, the drama erupted. Mrlasvegas came on and was on fire in NFL, the Bookiebuster from Atrain went 13-2 ATS in the first 15 weeks. But the egos and the haters got in the way and Ricky founded a wonderful FREE site known as Gotpicks.
As the site evolved, many cappers came and went. Many cappers used multiple ID's, but for the most part, the haters went away. Guys started services and tried to make cash out of the old CBS board days. You guys remember the Tallahassee Syndicate's NBA strong showing the first year? I drove up to Tally to find those mofo's and saw their physical address was a residence. Since the inception of this site, I've seen AT LEAST, 5 pay services come out of it. Now I can't verify anyone's records for longetivity, but I can say this...BP and his crew at Ballinpicks have been consistently hitting it on the head for the entire 2006.
I was a guest capper on one site for a month. It's now defunct, but that site went 38% ATS in MLB when I was on it not counting my picks. The ones I've tracked by seeing their plays have been 50% at best.
In fairness to LPW, Sonny Lafouchi, Champ Taylor, and Southern, I don't know how they do. I did meet Southern on an another board with schemp cappers...but Southern is not a bad capper and does well....although I don't gamble the way he does on ML plays...anyways, my point is this.
I've seen paysites come and go out of GP. BP and I have never met, but chat on the phone and I know from experiences OUTSIDE of gambling, that he is a good person and an honest one.
His record speaks for itself. I think I'm the shizzle in a few disciplines (Baseball, Hoops, UFC, NBA and NFL and MLB post seasons) and I've proven that on this board for 3 years now. But I have to give a tout and props to BP..
He's humble and takes advice. He listens to others and plays with intelligence. And most importantly, he puts out winners. When he is not hitting, it doesn't take long for him or Winstrol to come out of the "shakes." Go look at their W/L record and unit play system. I, for one, just want to say that BP does a great job and while I have to much pride to say that anyone is better than me at capping, I will say that BP has my respect and is definetely someone I lean on when I'm cold and someone I can confer with on plays and know I'm getting good info.
I spoke of BP being a good person. Dig this....in the great state of FLA, we get hurricanes and bad weather as often as most of you get rain. When Wilma cancelled my KC/Miami trip last year, I called BP to see how our boy was doing. Even though his loved ones were all set, the man was TCOB for his community and helping out in other ways. I heard the stress in his voice and told him to head north to the beaches of the Gulf. But BP was more interested in making sure that his "crew" of loved ones was taken care of.
Yeah, I'm a BP and Ballin Picks fan. I never endorse pay services (unless they are my own$$) but after getting to really know BP in the last year and a half, and tracking his picks, all I can say is this:
You would have won great money in 06 following their system and you would have had a very honest capper giving you great info and going above and beyond customer service.
The cat is good people. Take it for what it's worth. But in a dishonest world of schemps, BP and his ballinpicks crew proved to me that they are the real deal and deserve my tout.
That's all I got...OPPPA BRO and keep hitten em straight. Good stuff and we all look forward to more of the same in 07!!!!
Southern, you do well too. Hit the boys with winners and you'll build that clientele. I'm just not a ML player in foots..only MLB...good luck and I hope you can be the 2nd successful site to come out of Gotpicks.
All the rest of you pay services, post picks like BP and his crew did and you'll get mad respect. On this site, if you talk a good game, it only lasts so long, if you put up a good game, you'll get a lot more respect.
That's my diatribe...Just wanted to give credit to where it's due and BP and your crew..great job in 06 and I wish you all the best.
