We go big or we go home today! I have to find a way to end the NFL season with a losing record! Here's my chance:
My Plays (27-23-3; 6-2 PO's):
BUFFALO +6 (-105) (PUNCHOUT) (the ML at +235 is worth a shot as well; the Chargers are in a divisional sandwich game here, and the weather should be horrible in Buffalo, which doesn't bode well for the warm weather Bolts; oh yeah, and the Chargers forgot how to play defense)
TAMPA BAY +7.5 (-120) (the Steelers just plain old stink this year; they are the defending champs, so the line is stupid each week; why they are laying this many points is ridiculous; the opening line was 9.5, and it was hammered down immediately; definitely the correct move in my opinion)
ARIZONA +6.5 (ugh! the Cards are so bad, but the Lambs stink too; I'll take the points)
CLEVELAND +5 (I might have to shoot myself after this game, but hopefully not; I think the Brownies will shock us in this one with a good effort; the talk here in Cleveland is all about how the Browns have given up and the season is over; I believe they have something to prove after that meltdown last week; KC is coming off two emotional division games and has two big games on the horizon; I smell a letdown here)
GREEN BAY Pick (the Jets have been up and down all year; I see a down here; the Pack needs a better showing at home; I think they get it here)
N.Y. GIANTS +3.5 (-120) (all of the Giants' recent struggles and Cowboys' recent solid performances have resulted in this line; I think it's off; the G-Men will keep this game close, if not win)
OAKLAND -3 (they are not the worst team anymore; the Raider D actually keeps them in games; two bad teams playing here; I'll take the the home team and lay the 3; potentially a push, but I'll take the chance)

Not too bad yesterday going 2-1 in posted college basketball. I may have another roundball game to post later, but today is all about football. I've got four plays for this afternoon's games.
Chicago -8.5
(The Bears defense will score more points than the Vikings offense)

(The Browns are imploding)

(The Patriots have started their annual playoff run)

(The Cowboys have the better QB, better defense, better coach)

I know the Chiefs look easy and for those who know me, you know I'm a huge Chiefs fan. BE CAREFUL$$$ WE always lose these games outright.
I am more worried about us beating cleveland than I am about playing baltimore and San Diego the next two weeks. No joke..

And Lusaka, I agree. Turmoil means circle the wagons. Way too much talent on the Giants to think Cowboys are easy. In addition, since when did ANY Giants team lay down to any Cowboys team in this heated rivalry. Shit, that's a lot of points in my opinion..I think the game should be a pick em. But WTF do I know?
have a great day. Got my Big XII GOW on the NCAA board and hit my GOM last night (although I did go 1-2 ATS..but was loaded on Mo State.)
Let's roll boys....Playoffs are right around the corner and that's usually my time to shine in the NFL. 6-1 ATS last year in the playoffs..check it out in the archives...I will be there for GP again to get back the holiday cash we spent over Christmas.
I personally think my best ATS runs are in the playoffs of any sport. MLB, NCAA Hoops, NBA and NFL have all been nice runs.

nailed 2-0 last night on my plays-- onto todays card and once again it looks good-- but the nfl has way too much parody to think that way--but here goes anyway
seattle seahwaks +4 -- rookie qb for broncos who are gonna look to run and conserve clock to the kepp the game simple for the rook--seattle fully healthy and ready to rumble
