A rough start to the playoffs for me, but I am firing away tonight with two larger plays on:
MEMPHIS +3 (good home team; I see them winning at least one against the Spurs; this is the time to do it, down 2-0)
NEW YORK +3 (one more shot with the Knicks; down 2-0, I think N.Y. responds with a big win; I still do not think New Jersey is a great team)
I think both New York ML & Memphis ML are worth bets as well b/c I feel very confident that at least one of these two teams will win outright. If you happen to split, you will still earn a profit b/c they are both dogs.

Allright guys i split last night with my plays going 1-1. Broke even $$$ wise. Now stand at 6-2. Today my play is the Mets. I don't see a sweep happening. Taking Mets -148. Gl everyone

the giants suck, giants suck....they look and acted like losers...bonds cant do it all. Alou left his pitcher in again when it was 4-0 and then became 7-0. i guess he doesnt trust his bullpen...would you. im staying off them for a long time.

Dodgers v Rockies Under 13
A lot of overs this year in games involving these teams, but only a few over 13. Plus Lima and Estes are decent pitchers, so it should not get out of control.

CONSENSUS PLAY #1 From axd/pc7588
We've played 10 of them so far and haven't posted any. We'll start our record at 0-0ATS.
San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies
Spurs -3 1/2 Total 173 1/2
Here's our write up:
Last five in series have all gone under.
Memphis points in the last five between the two: 67-A,81-A, 94-H, 74-A,-70-A.
SA points in the last five between the two: 78,80,88,98,87. (Remember 98-74 was first game of playoffs..more on that later)
Totals for the last five in this series Playoffs and Reg Season (4 meeting since Mar. 1'st):145.161.182.172.157.
Average total for the last five in this series:163.4
San Antonio allows a paltry total of 85.6ppg away this year.
San Antonio one of the worst in the league with 88.7 ppg when on the road this year.
Memphis/SA total play logic to go under:
Memphis will come home down 0-2 and knowing it will be a battle with a very motivated Spurs team tonight. Everyone always harps on the team down 0-2 and how "desperate" they are for a victory. Well that's commen knowledge...The Spurs will be looking to go up 3-0 and watch and wait for the 2'nd round. A game 3 close win by San Antonio will make me bet SA opening line for game 4 barring any major injury. But only if it is a close one. (Almost went off on a tangent again.)
The game will flow with one of two starts: Memphis comes out blistering and we have a big first quarter number..or more realistically based on SA's great road defense...both teams will come out cold. Jason Williams running and gunning will almost guarantee this under if he launches another 10 shots (averaging 10.5 attempts per game in the first two in SA.) Interesting to note that Williams attempted no foul shots in game 1 and a small number in game 2.
Axd and I both like the under strong on this one and we are playing it. As for the other NBA total play:
We were split on Knicks/Nets with Axd liking Over and I liked the Under.
Good luck, we hope you hit...we will continue to post these when they fit our "system." We crunch numbers, argue, compare to the capper list (usually fade), and look at percentages.

Won my bet yesterday with Boston so now 2-0 for the week. Here are the plays I made today:
1) Nets (-3) - Got this line in the morning, missed out on -2.5 yesterday.
2) Spurs (-3) - Same as above, hottest team in the league.

The DAWG went 3-3 last nite with his all and all picks. Therefore he is at 4-3 for the week and 265-229 overall. Last nite he had all FAVS and all OVERS...Tonite its all FAVS and all UNDERS!!!!!!!
