College Bowl Pool

Hey guys, this is a bowl pool we have run here locally and now nationally with gotpicks. It's a fun pool and should have a nice payoff this year. Slam won last year's pool..here's the real brief info, if your interested hit me up with a PM or leave a message on this thread and I'll get a hold of you

2006/2007

7’th Annual Rank the Bowls Pool

RULES:

1.) All payment must be in before the 1’st bowl game or you will be deleted from this year’s pool. (Entry fee 100.00)

2.) This year there are 32 bowl games. You will pick the winner SU (straight up) and designate their ranking. Every bowl game must be ranked between 1 and 32 with no duplicate numbers. Basically pick the winners and rank them 1 thru 32 in order of your “locksâ€

  1. PC,

When you say ranked, is it like the March Madness Tourney where you fill out the whole bracket ?? In another words, once the bowl selections are complete, do you rank the games ALL at one time or as you go ??? I'm thinking all at one time, right ?? And if it is all at one time, how much time do we get to research the games ?? ( week )

Clarify that for me brother !!

    Thanks

  2. There are 32 bowl games..before the first bowl game goes off, you need to have all 32 picks in.

    Each game is picked SU.

After you pick the winners..you then rank each bowl game 1-32. The 32 point game should be your lock..say Ohio State to beat St. Peter's College for the Blind...then you would assign Ohio State as your 32 point game. You then rank your next strongest 31 and so on. Each game will have a value between 1 and 32 with no duplicate numbers.

So...you basically pick all 32 games BEFORE the first bowl game. You will have a spreadsheet or email with everyone's picks before it starts so you can play along at home. Whoever has the most points, wins.

So say you hit 22 out of 32 bowl games and pick the SU winner.

The 22 games you won on you would get the points you assigned to each game.

Hope that makes sense. I'll email you a copy of last year's pool. Take care. GIve me a call if you got any more q's.
