Milwaukee Write-Up:
Milwaukee has played very well at home this year, going 15-5 SU & 12-7-1 ATS. Over the last month and a half, the Bucks have posted a 10-1 record SU at home, and an 8-2-1 record ATS as well (the only loss coming at the hands of the hottest team in the NBA right now, Detroit, this past Saturday). After losing to Orlando at TD WaterHouse on Monday, Milwaukee should be ready for some revenge when it comes home to face the Magic again. The Bucks have not lost three straight ATS since their 6 game ATS slide early in the season. On the other hand, Orlando comes into this game having lost eight straight on the road with a 2-6 ATS record in those eight games. The Magic have also struggled overall since Christmas Day, posting a 3-9 SU & 5-7 ATS record. They have covered three in a row, but I look for that trend to end tonight as Milwaukee looks to avenge the loss on Monday, and get back to their winning ways at home with a 13-15 point victory.
Phoenix Write-Up:
Phoenix comes into this game having won four in a row SU & ATS. Amare Stoudemire's return has provided the much needed lift this team needed. Although he is day-to-day with his ankle injury, the other guys, including Joe Johnson, have come together since the trade to make this team somewhat competitive. The Suns have finally come out of their December ATS slump, going 8-4 ATS in their last twelve games. They have covered four straight on the road and should be up for Denver tonight as they look for double revenge, including a 13 point loss at home to the Nuggets last Tuesday. On the other hand, Denver has cooled off a bit, posting a 6-7 SU & 5-8 ATS record over its last thirteen games, including a 2-5 ATS record at home in that span. After blowing out Utah last night on the road, the Nuggets must now come home to play the second of back-to-back games in which they are 3-5 ATS coming off a win and 1-2 ATS playing a road game followed by a home game the next night. I look for Phoenix to possibly knock off Denver on the road, but at least get the cover.
I may have another play later, depending on a line not posted yet.
