There should be RULES.....
Sports1, I am not attacking you. You just happened to be the latest example of a continuing trend that is getting sickening. Let me give you a couple of examples from personal experiences....
1) I have been on games where guys (NOT MRLASVEGAS) have posted all sorts of hype on a certain game (Game of decade--Game to end all games etc etc etc) whatever it may be.....I went with that game-- "I" bet the game. Nobody put my money up, I did. Well the game lost. No biggie, thats gambling and it happens....BUT, I would rather not read that the person that posted "backed off" but decided not to post thier "back-off" unitl after the fact.
2) I posted PAtriots vs Indy last Sunday night for the First Half and Game. I also ended up betting the first Quarter....I lost them ALL!!! Well, at halftime, I was out and feeling good and ended up betting Indy in the 2nd half...Lucky for me, it covered. NOW, what fucking good what it do anybody to come home and post that????? If guys followed on the two plays I posted and lost, do you really think they want to hear I won???
It leads me perfectly into my point..This is not about EGO's...This is about sharing information and sharing WINNNERS....If you are winning and not posting...Seriously, WHO GIVES A FUCK. I am not here to listen about how wonderful people are doing ON THEIR OWN. I have met some good people here and I really enjoy this site, but cut the shit already. Lets start from scratch....GOTPICKS.COM I googled it and it says, plain and simple GotPicks - The sports bettor and handicapper's source of free information and picks
There is nothing in there about bragging and egos. If you would like, I will start keeping track of posted picks in football and post them in their appropriate forum....I did this with PC in baseball and will do it again. Let your POSTED record speak for itself. We throw shit out in the chat room and that works very well. But, if you did not post it, then it may as well not have happened, therefore DO NOT POST ABOUT WINNING.
There is no better feeling tha being in that chat room with a bunch of guys and EVERYONE is winning....Thats what this is all about, WINNING.
Now, everyone has been all over Vegas and I really cannot blame them. We lost alot of posts when the site crashed, but he had posted his records a few months ago and I'll tell you...They were good, real good and ALL documented. He is good and you cannot take that away from him....He has won me money and I have lost money as well. BUT, we are attacking a kid for doing the same things others are STILL doing. Honestly, I believe that people may be upset that he isn't posting winners every week....I'll tell you this, I wish he was still posting. Shit, I was looking foward to that, what was it 11-1 run in NFL playoffs plus the superbowl??? Thats money.....
I have no problems with anyone on this site (Until now I am sure!!) I have just watched and read and decided throw my two cents in to hopefully get this back on track. NO MORE BULLSHIT....STRICTLY BUSINESS FROM HERE ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Messy - didn't you know? It's all about Who's Dick is Bigger (WDB) with some guys on this site, when it should be about sharing information, using information, and winning fucking money!
Like you said, we all choose what to play and what not to play - so we need to figure out our filter system for this site. There are certain guys that are absolute money in given sports and it's our filtering that allows us to recognize that and use it to our advantage and make money off it. Stay unemotional, rational, and consistent when making plays and over the long haul you will do fine.

Lol Z, it would get real interesting to say the least.
Here is what I have a problem with. I have a problem with FAKES, ya know those ones that were at the CBS board ? I know quite a few people here personally: Ricky, DollarBillz, PerryComo, PC7588, DawgofVegas, etc. and a lot of fly by night creatures that disappear after a losing streak.
You could take Dollarbillz for instance. I would wager on games that he thru out and wouldnt give a shit if he was in a slump from hell instead of wagering on games lets say from someone like ummmmmmm, UltimateCapper. The dude is obviously under another name. His nuts dropped because he is on a nice 7-3 system run and he wanted to show everyone his worth by calling out Vegas after Vegas gave his weekly Preach. Wonder why that urked him so much ?? Makes you wonder huh ?
I'm not going to set here and say myself and Vegas are buddies because were not. Believe me, we had our fair share of rumbles, but the dude has earned his worth. When he's on his game, he's on. 7-3 would be a fuckin disgrace. In matter of fact that wouldnt even hit the radar gun bouy. If he doesnt want to give you the plays, so phuckin what. You must FILTER out the info and take it from there. If you cant gamble here and make a dollar, then you need to get the fuck out of the business. You are one of the most reliable here. Every week I have mail from this cat on many different services with predictions. That shit is very helpful and use accordingly.
How many times have we bet on a game that someone thru out as a MONSTER play and watched the game and prayed that Muthafucker was right ? And how many times have we bet on that MONSTER game from a newbie and asked ourself's, what the fuck was he thinking ??
That dude NFL is gone I guess. Every week he had an EZZZZZZZZ GOY winner and every week it lost. Most peeps throw out plays and have the slightest clue to whats going on and ALL we ask is, to give us the best possible chance to win, nothing more, nothing less.
