All right, we smoked this week. 7-0 ATS all week on the MLB playoffs for a 10-5 ATS ledger on the MLB post season. For those that have been on the site for awhile, there are 2 "post season" to ride me on. the NBA playoffs and the MLB playoffs. Both are documented insane ATS numbers for me the last 2 years posted on GP. I'm looking to keep the "domination" going on the MLB post season tonight. Here's what I got players:
ROLL WITH ME ON THE METS -125 ML
Here's why:
I think Weaver finally implodes tonight as the pressure of a pivotal Game 5 gets to him. Glavine has been here time and time again. He will be there and will be able to avoid the big inning. Weaver will try to hard to locate his pitches and end up walking himself into trouble. With the mets putting up 12 runs last night, the Cards bullpen had to do some work. When I looked at that Mets lineup in a game they have to have against Weaver, I just can't back the home side. All indications are the Mets take the 3-2 series lead back home. Let's look at Glavine's last 5 starts courtesy of Vegas Insider:

Other than a loss to Washington, Glavs has been untouchable. Look at his playoff numbers in 06....
13 innings pitched, 1 run allowed, and the chance to get to the baby faced assassin. I think the public will ride on St. Louis with the logic that they have to win the pivotal Game 5 at home to have a shot in the series. I think the Mets break their hearts and win a close one.

Guys...... just want to post this for everyone to see, if they care....
i WONT go against PC in MLB postseason... but be careful if you are on the Mets.... i see this game being low scoring and close.... im not wagering on it at all.. staying away....
but.... if you large on the Mets, it would be wise to hedge, and take the Cards at +1.5 runs at -140..... i see this a tight game....

ok fellas i have played a 4 team 13 point teaser every week and have hit. Teasers are known to be suckers bets but for whatver reason it has worked for me (knock on wood lol). I'm allready in for a 4 teamer for this weekend's games.

Dolfins +9 Call this a home town pick since i'll be at the game but the papers here are calling the fins out. A lot of dropped balls by Miami and back home finally against Greenbay coming off a bye. This year teams coming off a bye have played flat. Fins are gonna win this game.
Eagles +8 After the eagles stuck it in my ass yesterday for the game (thank you second half -3 1.2) i'm coming right back with them against Tampa. Tampa isn't blowing anyone out with the rookie throwing and Eagles score a lot. Even if Tampa scores the upset as they did against cic yesterday, it will be in a close one.
Seahawks +6 1/2. Seattle is flying high after yesterday's big win over st. louis. Minn, coming off the bye (so you know how I feel) do not have the team to come in and beat Seattle at home. Seattle is well coached and this team is straight up clicking on offense. Alexander might be back as well which is a bonus but even without him +6 1/2 is a gift. The secondary is gonna play well after having to try and cover st. louis's rec. Basically, stuff chester taylor and pressure brad johnson.

just a warning to all those.. and there are a lot.. on the Mets...
if you have $500 on the Mets..... i just might place $200 on the Cards +1.5......

Southern...just breaking balls...hedging is fine, but there is a place for it...like on the third game of a parlay....but you are right it is a good time to be concerned with this game...but i would suggest just lay off if you gonna hedge in this situation...

The Bears line is being abused .. up to 12.5-13ish so far, and I'm sure it will "che che che cheeeaaaa" up a lil more .. There is 83% on them .. I mean .. Shouldn't the BEARS win by like 28??? Or are the CUBS gonna show up and let Zona cover??? The obvious says Bears blow them out, but its the obvious because their is 83% on them! The Public got their ass handed to them on heavy public bets this weekend for the most part, so maybe the public gets a lil back today??? hmmmm fuck .. BP...this is a tough one bc in order to fit us the line should be going the other way...then we would play AZ..but the line keeps moving up which means, they want people on AZ.....sooooooooo....i think the bears cover this one bc they are looking to prove that they can and might go 16-0...i dont think AZ gets TD in this game and the bears roll.

I am amazed at the 16-0 talk with the Bears. Like I said (See previous
post) - The Bears schedule has been soft and will be soft until they are
8-0, as they play SF and Miami at HOME after their BYE.
Then it's off to the east coast for three straight road games
AT THE GIANTS - AT THE JETS - AT THE PATRIOTS
Yes the Bears Steam roll to 8-0, but getting to 11-0 will be the chore.
Meanwhile, the Bears should win the next three games (AZ,SF & Miami) by a total score of about 100-20 or so.

The public continues to hammer the Bears and the line keeps going up (as BP said already), so the logical thing for me to do here would be to take Arizona plus the points. BUT, I think I'll pass on this one. The pub. took a beating yesterday (trust me, I know, b/c my wallet is a lot fatter after those games), and they could get lucky tonight. Da Bears should blow them out, but Arizona could sneak a back door cover on them. No post for me on this one, but if that line goes to 14, I will take the value and roll small on the Cards (4 point line moves in the NFL usually mean disaster for the side everyone is on)!

jdelt...i agree...as we saw yesterday...everyone was all over cinci, but the line dropped...weird huh....then the last play was reversed and TB won and covered....Public got smashed, but put 5 dimes in my pocket. With this line movement i think vegas gives some back, to make us keep coming back...haha

Both pitchers are throwing on three days rest.
Over the past 36 playoff starts on three days rest, starters are 8-18 with a 5.54 ERA. The last time Glavine threw on three days rest in the playoffs was 2002 when he gave up 7 ER in 2-2/3 IP. I think Weaver has been out of his head lucky and his time runs out here. Both bullpens are taxed right now.
I know the Cards are praying for rain in this one.
