Mets will crush the cards. Taking mets - 1.5(+120) for 2.5 units pays out 3units. Cards have a tough time vs lefties. And, Glavine is on top of his game. Just for kicks final score mets 6 Cards 2.

Pujols is 9-for-20, Ronnie Belliard 5-for-12, Juan Encarnacion 13-for-36 (.361), Rolen 19-for-53 (.358).
The Mets have too much left handed power for Weaver. The Mets will likely start 6 lefties (including switch hitters) and Weaver's ERA this season against lefties is 6.67 and lefties are hitting .340 off him. Also, Delgado is 19-38 career against him. I predict a Delgado HR tonight

Best Bet: St. Louis over 9
GL playas....everyone and their mother is on Oakland and for all you fantasy ballers, you know Esteban is at best, a #3 pitcher. I'll take the youthful arm of Verlander and the experience of Pudge over a talented Athletic's team. This game will probably be rained out anyways.
I have to roll large on the over in St. Louis because I can't see Dream Weaver having consecutive back to back stellar post season outtings. And let's keep in mind he went against the Pads offense, not the Delgado, Beltran, Reyes, Wright, LoDuca monster he now faces. This game should be a slugfest. I can't see Glavs getting it done either.

Pc you beat me to it. It seems a lot of people like the over 9 in this game. Me included. I see the real value in the Cardinals and the series as Phantom posted.

sorry guys, Czechs bounced against our Rep. of Ireland side desperate to regain some pride after Saturdays humiliation in Cyprus
in truth the Czechs played as if they were happy with the draw and the Irish guys played as if there lives depended on it
i suppose the lesson is i should stick with sports i know nothing about
