..I own the MLB post season and I'll prove it for a 3rd year in a row on Gotpicks. Here's my opening two for the post season.
Game 1 Postseason Best Bet:Roll with me on the Twins -1 1/2 +130.
Johan is a perfect 12-0 at home in the last 17 starts. Zito is a good pitcher, but not a great pitcher. Throw in the big game moniker and you see why. He has a great road record and ERA, but I'm not sold on the 06 version of Zito. In addition, in his last 3 starts he's been tattoed as has the A's bullpen. The Twins snuck the division on the last day and are playing great baseball. Look for a 4-1 result in the homerdome.
PLAY ON THE TWINS RUN LINE - 1 1/2 +130 in the early game.
Game 2 Postseason Best bet: Roll with me on under 10 -120 in the Yanks/Tigers game. Robertson is the game 1 starter and I was wondering why. After digging, I see he pitches real well against the Yanks. Not so much in Won/loss but his ERA and control has been stellar. Throw in my vote for the AL Cy Young Chein Meing Wang and I think you'll see us hit this one. The key will be the first few innings. If Robertson and Wang can get us to the 3rd with 2 or less runs, I can almost say it's easy money.
Take care players.
MLB Post Season Record: 0-0 ATS
(For those who doubt, check out the daily picks thread for October in 2006 and 2005, I dominated the post season. I plan on doing it again this year.)

i have to diagree with u pc on this one
i like oakland +180 ml to get the game 1 victory
santana did not pitch against oakland this yr so we dont know what to expect but zito faced the twins once this ys and it was a 4-0 win gave up only 4 hits in 7 inn
wont be many runs in this game so the under 7 is also a good play
yankees under 9.5 this one scares me a little and heres why ..... yankees in there last 10 reg season games have scored an average of 5.2 runs per game and the total runs in their last 10 is average of 11.5 total runs per game and the tigers have averaged 7.1 runs per game in last 10 while totaling and average of 13.2 runs a game
but pc ur right robertson has pitched well against the yanks 6-1 loss and 2-0 loss
my plays for today
oakland +180
cards over 7
yankees under 9.5

Stan....Santana pitched vs the A's on June 2...
"Santana beat Oakland 2-1 on June 2 in his only start against them this year, giving up one run and two hits over eight innings while walking none and striking out nine. That performance followed a three-hitter against Oakland in a 1-0 victory Aug. 12, 2005.
The left-hander is 4-1 with a 3.19 ERA in 14 games - seven starts - against Oakland."
Just wanted to let ya know....

Two plays for me.
NYY/Minn parlay 1 unit to win 1.13
The two best pitchers in MLB this year toe the mound for Minn/NYY.
Cardinals +107
I like the value here with Carpenter well rested and Peavy's arm about to fall off.
Good luck

im sorry, im late..this doesnt make a shit, but im on a's +1.5 for a small play...i dont want to hear this crap about late posting, so save it...sorry for the late post...
I do have a play in the cards/padres game...
Padres ml -115
Peavy at home with the padres been playing good ball. It's always been known that a team that is limping into the playoffs does not usually fare well. I'm riding the padres, winners of 8 out of their last 10, and peavy pitching well his last three. carpenter has struggled lately and this is not the time of year to do it. Padres in a close one. GL!

here we go...
hit that U yesterday but i got jacked on my damn teaser since a push is a loss. all i needed was GB to score 1 more point and i would have come up strong. either way, i still have NE at a pick to close out my other teaser...
U 45 for me so far for 2 units. the line has dropped up to 3 points at some places with the pub on the O. keep in mind that i only put 2 units on this for a reason.
U 55/ S MISS +15/ NE (pick) for 2 more units...
need to see if i like the DOGG again SU. it would be too crazy to happen again but...(i need more info on that)
might pick ride Jivo and PC on their plays...
GL ALL!

one more for ya
THE HEAVY PLAYER IS CURRENTLY AT $8,625.00
MLB FOR 10/03/2006:
$500 OAKLAND A'S (+1.85) 1:05 PM.......WON $925
$250 ST. LOUIS (+1.05) 4:05 PM.....WON $262.50
$1,000 NY YANKEES (-2.30)......pending
$200 TULSA -5....pending
$50 PARLAY TULSA/UNDER 46......pending
Note, if you do not have the bankroll then do NOT play the Yankees tonight. The Vegas line is -230 which means I risked $2,300 to win $1,000. It is not an ideal line but I have the bankroll to back it up and am willing to take the risk. BEWARE! This lifestyle is not for the weak. Do not play if you cannot afford it!
