wed night in chatroom we threw some games around for today...and none did to well........hope you survived...i did ok with dodgers win, brewers doggie but lost the phillies over after a week rain delay...these all small for action...for a gain of 2 units.....
HOWEVER TAKIS AND GANG THE STREAK IS NOW AT NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOO...PIMPIN 409 WHERE YOU AT....CMON THIS IS NUTS....CARDS KEEEP LOSIN!!!!!!

anyway rick....got off track there on the stros.....as roy o just plain o pitched the ball.....

just to think give us 20% of pens blown saves and we win division by 10 games...lol..that what makes this game so fun..specially this wild card ..lot of scoreboard watching goin on...dodgers/pads/stros/cards/phils.....man dont wantto see it end

anybody think that this CHI/COL game goes U 9.5? I just think that, after last night, their might be some stiff backs and deltoids on the batters for today. but, didnt Col use 6 pitchers last night?

Slim! you just proved why this is called Gambling! i'm down with Zomboner but its just crazy to bet that the Cubs will win 3 games in a row!
Cubs is a good play but way too much juice for a team that i dont trust too much.
Cubs have some bats, or are you banking on the pitching of Col? i think that it is too natural to just say the O.

now why would somebody bet their top 5 plays they want u to lose so they can make money

Slimmy- isnt that info of the Top 5 games being played on? i dont think that they're just throwing out advice.
also, another thing that we all seem to have a strong misperception on is that the books/vegas doesnt mind if you or I win...as long as they win also. get it?
they give out all sorts of info, even if its very useful, to keep hope alive for more players. but, in the end, they will always win as long as there is action day in/day out.
you see, we think that this thing is about trends, %'s, home filed advantage, injuries, etc. WE make it a "technical" thing. but, what they have known FOREVER is that, to the majority, this thing is FAR from the mathematics that we make it. this thing is way more EMOTIONAL to the majority of bettors. and, we all know (because we have been there) that EMOTIONS can clutter the mind, hurt your pride, and get you to go "all in" on the next play because "...you were robbed".
so- botoom line is that it doesnt matter how much info they help us with. people will still double up on the next play after they lose by the hook, while others still think that they will hit that 3-5 teamer so that they can take the rest of the month off.
like i just brought up in chat the other day about teams with over 80% of the pub on them...believe me- the books want those to hit once in a while. this way, they take a small step backwards to take a huge step forward (just think of the Psychological affect it would have from this)
win one "obvious" game
lose the next "obvious" and feel you were robbed (pride comes in)
you double on the next "obvious" play and lose
then, The Chase begins!
the key is to be like BP and Rocko and know when is the right time to be with the public like the WV play when 103% of the public was on WV.
BTW- i ended up playing that O 9.5 with the wind pushing 10mph straight out of the stadium...
last think (if you're smart and your still reading)...
the total line for tonights game has been dropping. its at 41.5 now...

Online services and Vegas casinos don't care if the bets are 50-50. THey will still make millions of dollars on the juice.
They are always going to give out advice, trends, etc. to attract players.

like i said- the fucking O was too obvious and i played it like a MOMO anyways.

i'm so mad at myself right now for playing another worthless/meaningless baseball game.
you know, when football players lose a game, they're ready to kill somebody.

I would play the farm on Houston but don't want to jinx them...The Rocket will definitely pitch lights out as usual but its the offense I'm worried about...They are absolutely horrible against lefties.....Means Berkman will be hitting right handed and my favorite Astro ever JASON LANE will be in the lineup.......MAN is he aweful! I see a low scoring game but will not touch it....

Wasn't able to post last night. Gave some back though so better off. For tonight, some plays:
Detroit -1.5 (Even) These guys are fighting to win the division and best record. Will take the run line at home and watch them roll.
Orioles -113 Boston has thrown in the towel. I see Tavarez getting rocked here.
Mets -125 I think (hope) they build off El Duque tonight. They lost Pedro but what people dont' realize is that Maine, Duque, and others have pitched better than him all year. Look for Maine to make a statement tonight.
Will trail the St. Louis pick. I dont' think this weekend will wind up being as dramatic as everyone hopes. St. Louis win and Houston loss tonight (not what I'm rooting for) would sure do that. St. Louis my play.
College Football - Rutgers -3 (Bought the hook). I was all set to go after South Florida. I mean, Rutgers on the road just isn't a good combination. PLus they are overrated since they haven't played anyone yet. That said, South Florida SUCKS. I just can't put money on them. Have to go with the Scarlet Nights....and the dream continues.
