I believe I ended 2024 at 22-20 and about EVEN. I am hoping to start off on fire, as I did in 2024 before going ice cold on these. I actually like BOTH the Co-Main Event Underdog and the Main Event Championship Underdog. Firstly, in the Co-Main Event I like Weili Zhang who I believe will keep this fight standing where she holds a huge advantage. Suarez is not a good striker, but a good wrestler. However, Suarez will be rusty as she hasn't fought in over a year. Zhang is a BEAST and the wrong fighter is favored here. Zhang ML+130 for the W!
Secondly, in the MAIN EVENT for the UFC Middleweight Championship I am all over Sean Strickland getting revenge vs Du Plessis. I actually had Du Plessis in the 1st match and felt I got lucky with the decision WIN. I believe Strickland wins his 2nd Championship in Sydney, Australia where he won for the 1st time in his career at this same arena in UFC 293 vs Izzy. He will keep this standing and will bust up and paint Du Plessis face red here. It should be an amazing fight! Another wrong fighter favored and going with Strickland ML+180 for the W!
