Great start for the Heat last night, but you can count on the Pistons coming out strong in Game 2! And it's no surprise who I'm on today:
Play:
DALLAS -6 (the Mavs will show the Suns how to play championship basketball right out of the gate; I'm actually starting to like this team, probably b/c I like Avery Johnson as the coach)
PUNCHOUT Series Play:
DALLAS -300 (opened at -260, but has now risen to -360 in many places; they are NOT losing this series; of course, my series plays have sucked this year, but I'm winning this one; until the Suns prove me wrong, I will continue to believe that they will never advance to the Finals playing their style of ball)

Yesterday 2-1 ATS Won on MLB and NBA, lost on USA in a shocker to Morroco.
MLB 2-1 ATS this week
NBA 1-0 ATS this week
Soccer 1-1 ATS this week

Back later with NBA...Jdelt and others..good luck on the Suns Series. I dont think the Mavs are as easy as you think. Which mavs team will show up..the one that plays defense or the one that loves to run. If it's the old school runnin Mavs..they are gonna get buried. If it's the new school defensive Mavs..they are gonna lose in 7.
Good luck...maybe after the Suns beat the Mavs then Jdelt will give them some respect.

In all the home games for Dallas (**) the Suns are 3-2 ATS and have won 2 of the 5 SU. IN addition, if you factor in a 6 1/2 point spread, the Suns are 4-1 ATS.
The Mavericks are a different team under Avery and it showed against San Antonio..who Avery played for and knew the team's systems and sets. Now he plays run and gun Phoenix who he didn't play for and has only coached against a few games. I'll take the experience of Phoenix and their success @ Dallas to cover the spread tonight.

Played Cleveland for something to pass the afternoon by faster. Sorry I didn't post it.
I can't figure out if HOU/WAS might be a sucker line. Any opinions?
The stat that brings this to my attention is the last three in ERA.
Oswalt @ 5.61 AND going 0-2.
OConner @ 2.12 AND going 2-1.
Houston sucks on the road, Washington sucks at home.
I'm thinking two hard about it, shouldn't be this hard.

I don't normally play prop bets but here's one my book had that I liked
UNDER 16.5pt lead for either team Mavs/Suns -120
I really like this play. This game should stay close, with each team going on a run here or there.
