1. Are we ready for the ponies ? Nice line up today with an aboslute LOCK coming !!!! Let's start off the 1st pick in the Apple Blossom form Oaklawn.

   We have 2002 horse of the year Azeri running in this baby, but I tell you, this is a good field of only 6 participants !! Azeri has won a remarkable 14 out of 16 races, but she hasn't run his September of 2002 after a slight injury. I think her main competetion will come from the #2 horse of Wild Spirit. Wild Spirit was the 2002 horse of the year in Chile. Still when this race goes off, Azeri is like one of those GOOD basketball teams, that just find ways to win. So I will go with Azeri, followed by Wild Spirit then followed by #5 Island Fashion.

   The BIG one boys, yep the Santa Anita Derby GR I stakes.

   Don't know where to start, but 1 thing I will tell you is this, I just frickin HATE betting against a Gray horse, but the Favored and the Gray Horse WILL NOT win this race today. Wimbledon is all locked up for the Derby and is just basically running a prep race for the Competition and the money. Wimbledon will not be pushed in a tight field that is pretty much equally matched. I still think he hits the board.

   #6 Rock Hard Ten. The son out of Kris S has not lost in 2 races and has shown some very nice times. But 1 of the factors that I use in picking horse races has happened to this horse. It's called JOCKEY CHANGE and I hate them. Rock Hard's normal jockey Gary Stevens is currently in Europe, so David Flores will get the mount today aboard Rock Hard Ten.

   I don't have to say much about Imperialism. Nice ass horse that will come out fighting, but I don't like the # 1 post at Santa Anita, so for Imperlialism to be effect, he will have to drop back early, which I think he will, b/c the #2 horse Lucky Pulpit is your early SPEED and the #1 doesn't want a battle early in the 1 1/8 mile race, So with everything said and done, we have an upset here boys, if you want to call it that. I just looked at some gallop and breeze times and I could not beleive my eyes. This horse has been training just absolutly PERFECT !! This horse is the # 7 St. Averil with Tyler Baze aboard !! I deeply feel this horse will pull it out in the final furlong with room to spare !! Here are my final picks in this toughy,

   # 7 St Averil 25 ATB (25-win,25-place,25-show) = $75 total

   Ex Box # 7, # 1 $ 4

   Tri Box # 7, # 6, # 3, # 1 $ 4

   I don't think the 5 horse will have any juice left as he will be battling the 2 horse for the early lead. They both have to have it and they both want it !!

   This horse is just to powerful for this field. This baby comes STOMPING home on the back stretch with Speed 2 Burn. BOOK IT !!!

5. AHHHHH,

   The BIG race cost me a few bones. WTF happened to St. Averil ? Didn't even hit the board !! Arghhh.

   Gilgril did'nt hit the tote either, but I think the 4 horse was the WAY Bigger surprise !!!!

   BUTTTTTTTTTTT, We won some more loot on the ponies, yet again $$$$

   BEAUTIFUL, but St. Averil has got me stumped, how in the hell do you burn the hell out of a 1/2 mile under a gallop and show like that !!!!! WTF !!

   Then, a shoe change was in order, but backed off after the last breeze time !!!!! GO FIGURE !!!!!!!!
