Need Masters Help
Hey all...I rarely ask for help...but I need it now
I am not a fan of the game of golf, but I have paid entry into a "Masters Golf Tournament" fund raiser contest with 50% benefit going to a notable local charity for the terminally ill here in upstate NY. The contest is set up as a winner take all event. If I am fortunate enough to win the event I will donate the winning 50% prize money back to the charity to help defray the costs associated with all the good that they provide.
HERES MY DILEMMA........I must pick a team of five (5) golfers that will make the cut, and then go on to post the "low 4-day net" cumulative score amongst all participating golfers for the entire tournament. I know literally nothing about the game nor its players (other than Tiger). I really need direction from the well-versed golf followers in our GOTPICKS community. If you truly are an avid golf fan who has serious thoughts (backed with facts) on who I should pick for my fivesome I would be forever appreciative. I hope our network of cappers can "nail this one cold" so I can help those who need it the most!! (Ricky...I will forward you the info to insure its legitimacy). THANKS TO ALL WHO ARE WILLING TO TEAM UP WITH ME. You guys are the best!!!! And, GL $$$$$ to all as we fire up the grills with the "Boys of Summer".

Hello Snowy...Here are five golfers you can consider....
TIGER WOODS..RETIEF GOOSEN..VIJAY SINGH..PHIL MICKELSON..DAVIS LOVE III
Of course 90% of the teams in your pool will have the at least 3 of these guys. But golf is so unpredictable, you can interchange about another dozen or so. Here are some other noteables for you. Mix and match or whatever...I dont think you can go wrong on ANY of these golfers...
JIM FURYK..MIKE WEIR..SERGIO GARCIA..DAVID TOMS..JAY HAAS.. DUFFY WALDORF..ERNIE ELS...STEWERT CINK..STEWERT APPLBY
I believe the first five I gave you are the top dogs. But like I said, any five of these guys (Woods,Singh) and any others you would be fine!!!

I have to agree with Wardawgs tops dogs ( Tiger ,Vijay,Phil,Love III,Goosen ) . The same players usually play well there because of their
familiarity with the course. I'm in a few pools also and everyone always
picks the same guys . Here's a few other guys to look at
Ernie Els ( Top 10 Lst. 4 yrs )
Angel Cabrera ( Top 15 last 3 yrs. )
Harrington ( Tied for 5th in '02 and playing well now )
Bernhard Langer ( Past winner and always plays well there )
O'Meara ( Past winner and has won on the European tour a month ago )
Adam Scott (T9 - 02' , T23 -03' )
John Daly ( Just because ya gotta root for him and HE's got the game you need at Augusta - Hit it long and have a great touch around the green )
Hunch Pick - KJ Choi
Sentimental Pick - Tom Watson ( my fav. growing up )
