okay so we finished up a disappointing week....if you played them the way i did you are down a few units...yesterday went 1-1 on top plays and lost the daily double dog.....our record for the week finished at:

having said that new week...new start....looking to run the table tonight and here's how i see it....

TOP PLAYS

DET (-1.5 -110)

Im taking the wings to win by 2 here for the better payout...i actually think they win by 3 so im not worried about the 1.5 goals...DET at home are very tough customers...29-6-4..the Red wings have beaten COL in their last two by 2 goal margins and there is no reason why they don't hammer MIN tonight...DET is in the race for the President's Cup (1st Overall) with TB...MIN hasn't played a playoff contender since they lost 3-1 to the Isles 5 games ago.....tonight they get a dose of what teams dish-out who are headed to the playoffs...plus i like the fact MIN had to pack their bags after yesterday's game to jump a plane to MoTown....Wings by 3.

getting positive money here because if you look at all the books the lines are set-up for a tie in this one....i call bullshit....sens gonna be playing catch-up all night....OTT lost tender Lalime on saturday and tonight back-up Prusek gets to see what 35 shots looks like....as mentioned above President's Cup is on the line (plus the huge chunk of change that goes with it) for the Bolts....gonna be a good game but the OTT is 2-2-1 in their L5 while the Bolts are 3-2, most notable are their last games are all wins against TOR, NJ, WAS...Sens have tied TOR, beat MON and lost to BOS in their last games...i see the Bolts winning by a goal in this one.

GRAND SALAMI UNDER 36.5

I have tonight's games coming in at 33 goals...the Salami stands at 36.5...thats just over 5 goals a game and i see 5 out of 7 games playing UNDER 5 goals...so then its UNDER 36.5 on the Salami

Canes beat FLA last time they met 2 games ago 3-2....Canes 6-4 in their L10 while the Panthers 3-7...most notable are the Panthers are 0-5 in L5 while Canes stand at 3-2....Canes also rotating goalies and its Irbe's turn tonight....I love the Canes chances with Irbe in net...Canes by 1.

Random Thoughts for Tonight....

I can see the Blue Jackets stealing one in Buffalo tonight...the Sabres playoff chances are all but done by being 5 behind the Isles with 4 to play and a game in hand. Blue Jackets have been making me money on the ML..gotta love teams out of playoffs being proud of the role as spoilers.

I think the leafs will have their hands full with the Thrashers tonight...Leafs are sending guys to the infirmary every game and thats not good in the last week of the season....latest victim is Owen Nolan on Saturday.
