we had a good night yesterday on the junior hardwood....went 3-1 with the only loss by VAN, as i said i expected UCONN to win but not by a blowout....anyways still made cash and here is how i see tonight shake-out....

XAV +2.5

I read all about the longhorns deep bench, 11 guys who play 10 mins a game, no one over 30 mins..etc...the problem is they might key on a player, double team but that leaves other threats open..thats the problem...the threats...XAV on average is a spooky 50% from the field in shooting...they are also outscoring their opponents by 17 to 18 points a game...even if you compare defensive stats both teams shake out even...St Joe's only loss this year is at the hands of XAV..they handed MIS ST their butts in a jar last game as 4 point dogs...just too much scoring diversity for the longhorns to plan against..XAV by 4.

DUKE -7

I debated about this one for awhile....i won big on ILL last weekend to send CIN packing....it paid off last weekend but i think id be throwing my money away going against DUKE in this one.....been looking for a ray of hope for ILL (everyone likes a dog) but i just dont see it....DUKE is no CIN...DUKE is just too solid as a team, they execute everything well...just hope they come out to play and not let the 7pts go to their head....but they have yet to let that happen...they've covered the 34 pts and 11 pts in their prior 2 games...i see no reason why they dont cover the 7...DUKE by 11.

NEV +4

In my mind this should be a pick'em but since the jackets are giving 4 pts im gonna take em.....out of all cbb ive since this year ive seen GTECH 5 times...and not once have they played the way people say they can....NEV is riding high from dumping Gonzaga...that game wasn't even close...my experience says when big dogs go into uncharted territory (NEV was happy for an invitation to the big dance, let alone a sweet 16 bracket) anything can happen...both teams have similar stats...should be a close game (just like every other game GTECH has played in their last 6, except DUKE loss) you'd be poor if you waited for GTECH to cover a game...im going with the Wonder boys from the desert...they can smell an elite berth and they play the whole game hard.

UAB +4.5

Here's another whacky dog prob getting 2 or 3 more points than they deserve...go figure these guys out after their upset last week....the problem i see here for KAN is their injuries and the pace of the game UAB likes to play...especially their "hell bent for leather" defense...on paper KAN is the better team especially their point separation from offense to defense....this one is gonna come down to a bucket just because UAB will have KAN running all game....players coming off injury running crazy is not a good combo...KAN by 2 but they won't cover so im going with UAB
