--Head coach Tommy Amaker changed up his lineup for the 82-67 win over UTEP. He went with an all-senior starting five. Lester Abram, Sherrod Harrell and Chris Hunter joined usual starters Daniel Horton and Graham Brown. Abram and Hunter were injured down the stretch. Amaker then subbed those five out for five underclassmen. He said the Wolverines have been practicing that way. "Our kids enjoyed it and we thought it could be very helpful in trying to maintain a certain level of intensity out on the floor defensively," Amaker. The Wolverines had 10 players get 10 or more minutes, and they used 15 players in all.
