Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced the country's strong relations with Russia. This is reported by TASS.

"The relations maintained between China and Russia are solid as a monolith. They are not subject to interference and provocations, they are not afraid of major changes in the conjuncture," he stressed.

The head of the department added that the cooperation of the countries is not aimed at any third party. According to him, in 2022, the parties supported each other in protecting their interests. He also stressed that the political and strategic mutual trust between the states has been further strengthened.

Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that Russian-Chinese relations have withstood the test of international vicissitudes and difficulties. He said this at a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. Xi Jinping also added that China is ready to strengthen cooperation between Beijing and Moscow "for the sake of more equitable global management" of available resources and solving world problems.
