6-9 ATS YESTERDAY FLIP FROM THURSDAYS 9-6 ATS !! 15-15 ATS LAST TWO DAYS! First I must take my Panthers off the betting board just cannot shoot! That was a ugly performance Julius Page used to be a great shooter just not the case now! When they were hitting all cylinders they would have pounded that team last night! Okay, I went over all the games again and this is the lineup I came up with.
BEST BET:
UCONN -10
UConn is a much better team, and depaul is coming off an emotional double OT win so watch how they loose their legs.

My plays for today:
UNC/Texas: The line opened at UNC -1 and has since moved to UNC -1 1/2. You look at both teams and see plenty of talent. However, with such a small line, you are basically betting on the winner. Even though Roy has coached against Rick 14 times in the last six years, I think Texas and Company has a better bench and better ability to handle Mile High conditions. THis is a tough game, but I'm taking the Longhorns and their experience over Roy and his new program. UNC is one of the betting public's favorite teams (behind USC and Notre Dame). I'm banking on the Longhorns putting the Tar Heels nation to shame.
Play on Texas + 1 1/2.
Seton Hall/Duke:
Line opened and stayed consistent at 10. The Hall has burned me all year when I go against them. With an overall 16-10 ATS record, the Hall looks tasty with such a big number. But, the Dukies match up so well with the Hall. Who's gonna stop Deng...and if he get going, who stops Duhon and Reddick from outside? My point...this is a tough one, but both teams can score in bunches on a neutral court. I'm taking over 142

Manhattan/Wake:
The Jaspers cashed for me against the gators (in fact, for a lot of us) and I'm one of the few who think they are for real. My Fade play of the day from the group...I'm rolling with Manhattan and the points. You heard it here first, they might win outright as well. Someone tell me what Wake has the Manhattan doesn't? Both teams are similar with Manhattan on an ATS roll in their last 6 with Wake Struggling in the ACC tourney and first round.

Good day yesterday going 4-2. Here are my plays for today:
1) Miami (-5.5) - Heat is 24-11 ATS at home and 12-3 ATS last 15 games.
2) Manhattan (+7) - Wake Forest barely won their 1st game and are 1-5 ATS last 6. Manhattan showed they can play against good teams.

The hall needs some help for backdoor cover!! ST JOES -6- I just cannot figure this small line not a big joey fan but Texas Tech is not strong in the backcourt(Tomaszek hurt) where teams hurt joey! Texas shot the three great last game but they are not a very good three ball team! Tech has been beat by big numbers just a few weeks ago by quality teams. Joey is quality at least !! Good bye blowhard Bobby!! MANHATTAN +7 have all the tools to keep this close as Wake just does not play Defense !! No defense no ring plain and simple so it may as well start here. N.CAR -1 just love this pick as texas with fresh point guard will struggle vs N.Car. and they are battle tested ! SYRACUSE +3 terps been great as dogs but now givin pts! Young team gettin tired while cuse seems to be getting stronger last two weeks! takin the pts! GONZAGA -8 played terrible first game look for bounce back effort here! STANFORD -7- bama been sweet so far but out classed here! U. CONN -10 oak getting better! Conn as opposed to Pitt seem to be peaking at the right time !! Just see a blowout here !! What's up fellas$$$$ Once again had a great afternoon, ruined by a horrible night. Overall I went 7-6 with my Best Bets going 3-2. That brings my up to date record to 85-88-1 and my Best Bets are 26-25.

St. Joe's (-6) Best Bet
You may think this is a homer pick, but it's not. St. Joe's kills teams like this. The Hawks ball pressure defense for absolutely destroy TT's offensive rythmn. How will they stop Emmett? Not let him get the ball. All year the Hawks have stopped one man offenses, especially forwards, by not letting them get the ball. Plus, TT has no answer for the quickness of Nelson and West at the guards. This is a statement game.

We were all impressed when the Jaspers disposed of that fraud of a team Florida in the first round. We will be even more impressed by them beating Wake in the second round. Wake hasn't exactly been world beaters of late and struggled just to get by VCU. Manhattan has the quickness to keep up with anyone and Flores is just incredible.

NBA: MEMPHIS -2 Pacers in off huge game with Sac.!! No Ron Artest and the Grizz just got caught looking ahead! Plus line beggin you to take pacers! GL!! In my earlier post I said Gonzaga played terrible and would bounce back!! Sorry I was wrong they did not play terrible(just saw them for first time this year in first NCAA GAME have not bet them all year) they just are not very good! Most overrated team in the tourney!! What I thought was bad game was just their talent level.They were exposed as to slow and not very athletic! I know big foul trouble but Stepp is a dog!! Cannot make his own shot any quick athletic guard can shut him down! Sure hes good vs Saint Marys but vs real talent he is a major dog. Hope he studys hard!! Plus he even looked scared! Wow I have made some bad bets in my life but that ranks right up there!! Sorry to all who listened!!
