I got hammered yesterday, hammered!
Lost 22 units on 2 GOW's. Won 3 on SW Mo.
Won 4 units on the Iceman (great career Randy, the high line showed you weren't ready!) lost 4.4 units on Diaz (Vegas I got robbed. Did you see that fight? Someone tell me how Riggs won 2 rounds? He is a poster boy and the Militich camp now so I'm gonna throw the "rigged" in there.!) And lost 2 units on Eilers. Thanks for the pick ride help BP (Cal Sacramento).

I'm on Oklahoma +6 @ Lawrence today. Way too much senior leadership and good coaching. As a Hawks fan, I know that Kelvin plays us real well, and that includes in the Fieldhouse. This is one of the few teams in the XII that can walk into any gym in this conference and expect to win. EVen with Lavendear gone, this OU team is starting to find it's groove at the 1 and 2 spots. I like Oklahoma a lot, but not gonna hype after getting drilled yesterday.
Play on Oklahoma +6 @ Kansas. And I do expect that line to go down.

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY and after the smoke clears its the HAWKS vs STEELERS got to LOVE IT! Only one way for me to go today its PITT ML to the Bank! Pitt has been $$$$$$$$ for two months now see no reason to buck them now! PITT ML and to make it a Burgh sweep the PITT PANTHERS +3.5 in CBB! GL to all !!!!

Who has a good feel for today's game??? Both teams played much better throughout the playoffs than I expected. Both O and D's outplayed all opponents. I gotta go with the Seahawks getting 5 (my book) and I'm playing the under 48 smaller. Gut feel is this is a 3-4 pt. game.
Should be a good game!! I'm playing some morning hoops just to pass the time. These are all small plays...

Wow Rip Hamilton fouls at half court for no reason with 7 sec left to fuck the HFA by a 1/2 point. I think some of you might have pushed on the game. That brings the HFA record to 18-6. Here are 2 plays and i'll post my Super Bowl play later.

When I handicapped the conference championships, I really felt good. Pittsburgh dominating Denver and Seattle beating a tired Carolina team with no running back. No however, Seattle is seeing a team the likes they haven't seen all year long. That will be the difference in this game. Seattle walked into this Super Bowl. They didn't play anybody all year. Seriously, I am not impressed with their schedule at all. What I am impressed with is the Steelers 3 straight wins on the road against Cincy, Indy and Denver. They crushed all 3. They will crush Seattle. Pittsburgh is firing perfection right now. From the coaches to the players. I am talking about 7 straight wins SU and 6-1 ATS but you can't fault them for laying 17 to Detroit and winning by 14. Inflated number to close out the year. Those 6 covers were all by double digits with exception of Indy. They beat Chicago by 12, Cleveland by 41 in Cleveland, Cincy by 14, Indy by 3, although that final was alot more of a burial than that final score would lead you to believe. Finally, they rocked Denver by 17. I am sorry, but Seattle did struggle against Washington and Pittsburgh is not the Redskins. They are better. If Seattle didn't have homefield advantage, they are not in this game. For that very reason, they will not win this game. They may compete for awhile, but talent will take over, strength will take over and all that sides with the Steelers. Grab Pittsburgh today. You will be glad you did. They will win by double digits because they are that much better than this team. I don't buy the Seattle hype. I don't buy Hasselback, Holmgren or Shaun Alexander. I buy the Steelers with 3 of the most impressive road playoff wins I have ever seen. Now they end it with an impressive performance here. All Steelers, all day long.
BASKETBALL

They have covered 4 of their last 5. Now they get a Kansas team on a 4-0 run and off the 34 point win over Texas Tech. It is because of that win this line is inflated as high as it is. The Sooners will battle and battle strong. This game goes down to the wire and the points are the way to go.
Iowa State
This is a big game. Iowa State at home laying a very small number against a Colorado team that is good. However, they can be beat and they will be beat today. Iowa State comes off the home loss to Kansas and they will be more focused here. Let's not forget, before that Kansas game, they had just blown out Missouri by 24 on the road. Very apparent to me they came back home a little full of themself and didn't take Kansas seriously. Well, they will take Colorado seriously today. They have covered 7 of the last 10 in the series and let's make it 8 of 11 today.
Houston
Now that Yao Ming is back, this team is going to take off. They come off a burial that they threw on Seattle at home and now the Knicks will be no match for them today. New York has failed to cover 8 in a row. That is how bad this team is playing and only 1 of those 8 games have been close. This is another blowout as Larry Brown wonders why he ever took this job again today. Ride the Rockets.
