Only my second post, so when I brag of being 100% - it doesn't hold much weight yet, but was right on with my first of the warriors over Spurs Monday.
Here are three I like in first round of NIT on Wed.
Utah State -8 over Hawaii
- pissed off and playing at home where they are 15-0 - should roll over a Hawaii team that stumbles in here 3-7 in thier last 10 games and not well in general on the continent.
Florida State -1 over Wichita state
- Athletic difference here, thus I'll go with a road team. Flor state - while poor on the road is road-tested from their ACC battles. Bodog doesn't have an over/under listed, but I see this one staying quite low as well.
GWU +4.5 over UVA
- Not much analysis here, GW alum, going with my boys. GWU was a money team ATS down the stretch - though in general iffy on the road. (I'll probably moneyline this one too +175)

Won my only pick yesterday with 76ers/Memphis under. 1-1 for the week and 70-53-2 overall. Here are my bets for today:
1) Denver (pickem) - Got the overnight line and bet it before I went to work. Denver has 4 straight covers and are 4-1 ATS last 5 on the road. Boston is 11-22-1 ATS at home overall and 2-7 ATS last 9 at home. Denver is 7-3 ATS on 2 days rest and Boston is 0-4 ATS on 3+ days rest.
2) Notre Dame (-5) - How can you not bet on Notre Dame on St. Patrick's Day! Purdue is 2-5-1 ATS last 8 games including a bad loss to a crappy MN Gophers in the Big Ten tourney. ND is 7-3 ATS in last 10 games.

Value index goes to the Cavs. Now you guys know that I am a Uva fan, but you also know that I have bet against them as well a lot this year. This is not a bias pick, but merely a pick that shows the Cav's winning by 9 in this contest. To much talent and 7 different people that can stroke 3's at anytime and 2 low post players in Clark & Brown that are PHYSICAL !!!
Keep an eye on the 2 Freshman guards for Virg. Bannister & Reynolds. Quick and athletic and they create plays. Look for Smith, Byars and Billett to contribute on the outside as well.
Nothing big, but just an average play. The line actually scares me, b/c it is only 4 !! Maybe 4.5 as of now. Virginia has had issues of getting out of the 1st RD of tourney play, but Gillen's job is on the line and Va is a Freshman dominent team. No way they let the coach that brought them in DOWN !!
With all that said, I will be betting $20 on Virginia to cover !!!!!

3-4 ATS LAST NIGHT (PROMISE NO MORE HOCKEY PLAYS) 1-0 NCAA TOURNEY! Well coming off the "johnson" I hope that was not a omen!! COLLEGE: OREGON -4- just has to be the play!
