Well, at least Nashville didn't blow it last night. The big 0-0 tie. I'll take it over a loss anyday. Colorado came through nicely however, so I'm 3-0-1 on the week.
Tonight I like Detroit (-1.5) for a number of reasons. Chicago is TERRIBLE on the road. Winless since Nov 7th or something (0-13-1). Since they have only salvaged 1 tie in that span is enough for me to give the points and take Detroit. They have not forgotten that 3-0 loss to the Hawks a few weeks ago, and considering they have lost their last 2, and have had 3 days off, they will be ready and fired up. 5-1 score.

After a terrible 1-3ATS yesterday, that brings this week to 6-4 ATS.
Here are my three for this evening:
Oklahoma + 6 1/2 (It's the Bedlam game, always close, always down to the wire. Just ask Poke fans worldwide.)
Creighton -3: Northern Iowa is tough, but I like Creighton to win by 6.
NBA:
Dallas -7 against Philly. This team will roll at home. Philly can't keep up.

CINC -5 (riding the hot team who is crushing their opponents by 23 on the road 26 in all, Marq has struggled at home agaainst zero caliber teams)
CONN -17.5 (another hot team who is killing opponents at home by 29.2pts/gm; GTown easy schedule (266th) catches up to them here)
Xavier -8 (xmen come in on a little roll playing Duquesne who is 0-7 ats at home)
Wich St -2 (Bradley can't get it done w/o Gilbert even playing the 251st ranked schedule)

rhode island +4 .....they are 4-1 as an underdog, and temple is 0-7 as a home fav of betwenn 3.5 to 6 pts since 1997. plus revenge factor comes into play here...last year temple beat r.i. twice during regular season , then again in tournament play..now rrhode island has the team to beat them. they at least stay within 4 on this one. may win the game outright
oklahoma +6.......yes i had them the other night as a dog and got burned. they traveled across country to play possibly the best team in the country and got beat bad on national tv. now they are on the road again, but basically right in their own back yard. they wont be embarrased again. they win here outright.
penn st +16 .....penn state is a much improved team this year...they have already beaten minnesota and ohio st in big ten play....and aren't that bad....they will come within the 16 points...may not win, but closer than you think.
nba:
knicks -5 .....orlando is back to being one of the worst teams in the league...especially on the road. new york really impressed me with that comeback the other night....down by 15 or so going into the 4th quarter..and coming back to send it to overtime...this will give them a boost. marbury has adjusted to his new team and is playing very well. lay the points....knicks by at least 12 pts !
denver -1.5......lakers are in trouble! shaq might play...but probably not...koby out, malone out, payton nursing the flu, grant dealing with a family illness, fox's foot still bothering him.....need i say more. denver is red hot! denver by 10-12 at least. lay the points
