So much for "these imitation Steelers, whose D is not nearly as good as in the past and whose O is plain vanilla average and have to depend on crazy flee-flickers for big plays". Sorry zrussell, I have to bust your chops here b/c you weren't even close on your prediction for this one! My Steelers dominated the powerhouse known as Indy! A couple of bullshit calls and a fluke fumble kept the damn Colts in the game until the end!
The Steelers are on their way to Ford Field! If I'm not mistaken, we will see two Wild Card teams facing off in the Super Bowl for the first team ever when Pittsburgh meets Carolina on Feb. 5. Who needs home field advantage? The Panthers and Steelers sure don't!

As I said after the Colts beat the steelers on MNF that game was not as lopsided as the score showed and that the Colts were not a LOCK to win it all! ALL CAME TRUE! STEELERS!!!! But hey, Peyton kept his perfect record perfect of having never won anything going back to pee wee football! Not in high school, not in college, not in grade school or the NFL! Taking the Steelers plus 3.5 today its power vs power this week a matchup that the Steelers like!

Rookie your way off base in my opinion. Kansas will lose this game. You don't know about the 2'nd oldest rivalry in ALL of college sports..Kansas/Missouri. KU rarely wins in Columbia and it won't change today. These two teams, their fans, and the city of Kansas City is always split when these two play. There's a reason it's the Big XII Big Monday Game of the week on ESPN. Watch the fireworks but I'm confident Mizzou will win their leg of the home and home.

All right, I got a GOW to start this week in the Valley. Didn't even see this game.
ROLL WITH ME ON SOUTHERN ILLINOIS +6 @ Northern Iowa. Way too many points, the total is 111 and as i stated two days ago..SIU is on a 13-2 ATS tear and should be able to cover the 6 at UNI.

Congrats to Steeler backers, I was not one of them.
I thought that this was Indy's year, clicking on all cylinders for most of the season and making it look easy for the most part.
But once again they do not show up for the big game.
I have to believe Tony Dungy is the main reason, for some reason he does not have the ability to motivate players successfully to play & win big games.
Look at what he did not do in Tampa, had a good team could not win, got fired and the next year Chucky comes in and wins a Super Bowl with his team.
I just dont get it.

Southern Illinois +6 at Northern Iowa ...8:00 PM
In what should prove to be a great game between two very good teams...the Salukis of Southern Illinois take to the road tonight to face the Panthers of Northern Iowa. S.Illinois comes into this game on an 11 game winning streak. Of these 11 wins ...they are 10-0-1 ATS !! They are a perfect 5-0 ATS in conference play, while N. Iowa is 3-4 ATS. As a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points....the Panthers are 0-1 ATS this year, and 2-5 in the past 3 years. As an underdog over the past 3 years, the Salukis are 11-4 ATS.
I see an extremely tight game between these two teams, that could very well come down to a shot at the final buzzer. I'll take the value...and the 6 points here anytime!

I definitely deserve the shots!! I was definitly on the wrong page with Pitt, and I can't even take credit on the Carolina call because I thought they would win a Defensive War, not points mania.. I'll still cash the books money, however. A win's a win. I also slid in on the under 49 in that game..
By the way, does everyone still agree that resting starters at the end of the season is foolish??? Man was Indy out of sync...
I'm oficially on the PIT bandwagon getting 3.5 at Denver. They've proven they can beat the best and Denver tripped into this game with 5 take-aways over the weekend. I'll give their Defense credit, but I can't believe they'll do it again next weekend. I'm on this one early because this line will definitly drop under 3 by the weekend.
Carolina will be without DeShawn Foster next week. They will miss him on the ground game, but I still think Steve "I'm the freakin' man" Smith will give them the edge getting 4.
It's a road team, doggy weekend... PIT + 3.5 and CAR + 4.

Again I agree with PC on the MU / KU game as hard is it is to go against the Hawks! The home team dominates in this series.
Also congrats PC I believe you won a $5,000 bet from another capper on this site by going against Indy about 2 months ago!!!!
