A huge day, and I mean huge yesterday. Going 4-0 on posted and hitting my 4 teamer. That's an 8-0 run ATS this week on gotpicks. Anyways, enough self glossing. Due to superstition, I posted my NFL total GOY somewhere else on Gotpicks. I'm not getting cute, just lost 2 of the last 3 GOY's I've posted in Daily Picks so I put it in another forum. Anyways, let's get on to the Mo Valley play. And Sunday, thanks for the love my man, good to see ya and hope you make that Vegas trip for March Madness.
NBA: 12-8-1 ATS
College 29-18-1 ATS
Mo Valley: 14-6-ATS (hit on Northern Iowa)
Big XII:12-7ATS (hit on KU to run it to 6-1 ATS on my Jayhawks)
Out of Conference3-5 ATS
NFL Post Season: 2-0 ATS (hit on both unders)
Mo Valley Play:
All right, we got the Bradley Braves hooking up with the Southern Illinois Salukis today at 2:00CST. This game is currently lined at betcris with Southern Illinois favored by 3 1/2. Vegasinsider has the total listed at 123. The Salukis are at the top of the Valley, as the only undefeated team at 3-0. Northern Iowa (my team to beat this year) is right behind at 4-1.
We're gonna roll the Saluki's and here's why:
Southern Illinois is a perennial beast in the Valley. After losing 2 head coaches to major programs in the past 5 years, the Salukis looked to be in rebuild mood. But for those in the know, SIU doesn't rebuild, they reload. Call me crazy, but year in, year out, this Saluki's team is there.
The 2005-2006 version is currently 9-4 ATS wtih a 5-0 ATS ledger at home.As I've said before, the Bradley Braves are an absolute monster at home and one of the toughest teams to play at home in the country. The Saluki's Defense will get it done today though and be able to hang a 4 pointer on the Braves.
In the last 4 meetins Head to Head..the Salukis have won all 4 SU and covered 2. I keep watching this year's Braves team and wait for the tent to fold, the walls to come off, the wheels to come undone, etc. So far it hasn't happened, but this might be the game where the Braves finally get exposed as a 2nd tier team. As always the Salukis are showing why they are a perennial power. Matchup wise, Bradley actually has the tools to play with SIU (great defense and an inside presence) But for an early game on a Sunday in Carbondale, I'll take the ATS force Saluki's to win another close one. They are one of the best coached teams in the country, year in, year out. (Just ask the Illini who stole the last coach Webber) Free Throws, fundamentals, and turnovers win and cover this game for the Salukis even though I personally believe the better athletes and talent play for Bradley.
ROLL ON SIU -3 1/2 @ home against Bradley today in the Valley.
This is an average bet for me today...3 units..nothing big.
I also have bet two other games in college today which I won't post. They are not in the Valley but if you want them just grab me in the chat.

I wanted to thank some people for plays too. I had a good day and I got the following winners from others....

thanks fellas..was nice icing to the cake. If those that read haven't noticed, this board has been doing some great ATS capping the last 3 months. BP had a good post pointing out the idea about finding the cappers who are hot and spending time on knowing which picks to trust. That's the best advice I've heard and it's what I did in developing the group of cappers I lean on when I'm down or pickride and don't want to play any more of my plays. As the years go on, new faces show up and add nothing but $$$$ to this site. Ricky, I can't thank you enough for putting together the site and meeting some of us that first year in Vegas. I would be lying if I said I hadn't seen an increase in profits since meeting and participating in this site the past 2 years.
Sorry for waxing poetic...just really enjoying the winners that come out of gotpicks.

Hey GP,
Great fuckin weekend all around for many of us! I hit some big ones, some in chat that were not posted!(Tak and others know). Want to thank VEGAS for hitting the football in a big way, PC for helping me out with picks, congrats on the valley plays and the total of the year, and most importantly this weekend, TAKIS who I pounded pick after pick with the last couple days! Lots of others helped me out in the chat and want to thank everyone in hopes of doing it again this week!

well fellas another week down and it looks like a winning week for most in here. I personally won 18 units as i won 20 units on florida then gave 2 back. Didn't bet again during the week as I said to myself i wouldn't.
Needless to say I went 3-1 today which puts me at 9-4 for the week on plays. (maybe i should still be betting. lol)
I must say, oddsmakers got fucked for the opening round of the playoffs with most away teams just simply being the better and more experienced teams. Its hard to place odds though when that team is away.
Personally, I loved car. from the get go but vegas claimed that one early (but I must say I agreed as I felt the giants had no fucking chance). I also looooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeedddddddddddd the Steelers as well.
For those who bet those games congrats. I'm happy collecting and xtra 18 units from the man this week. (I swear this fucking bookie hates me. He can't figure out what I do. Over the last 12 months, out of like 10-15 guys he takes action from, I'm the only one in the positive. Not to bad for myself. lol. He thinks I should move to vegas and be a prof. handicapper. lmao.
gl all as tomorrow begins a new week and as always if i see something I like that I would play, I will post for the gp family.
