I'll say it again! A FRIGGIN CLASSIC!

By the end I'd half forgotten about the bet and just wanted the longhorns to do it so badly - not cover, just win! Amazing game...

also glad I didnt go on any of my top 3 choices of nba games (orlando, chicago, milwaukee) and went all in on horns with my weeks bankroll, although wasnt thinking that when SC were up 7 and looking rampant...

I think Bush believed his own press a little with that lateral pass....

and I never gave Young any credit for the poise he possesses... man after they went 12pts down at the end and the 2 corners got knocked out everyone on the texas sideline looked beat apart from young - that mofo just had determination etched across his face...

prediction: young stays for senior year completing a course in knitting or something, packers minus brett go 1-15 and get a new franchise QB for themselves... hell if I were them I'd start praying Young stays for his senior year....

Wow Wow Wow! I took Texas on the ML so that was good. I am 9-0 since last week with a little pick riding and self capping as well. Thanks to all who are putting in their 2 cents (Vegas and PC you guys are unreal)

As far as the game last night, what else can be said except Go Texas and on a broader stage Go Big 12. Growing up in Dallas I am naturally a Texas follower and after attending Mizzou I support the whole Big 12 come bowl season and tourney time. I have to say, not a bad run for what critics called the 5th best conference in the country.

Colorado is in disarray but at least showed up for a little while

Nebraska looks to be back with a convincing win over Michigan

An Oklahoma team in the midst of "an off year" took out an Oregon team that many felt was BCS quality

Texas is our National Champion

Again not bad for a conference in a down year!

I am bummed that CFB is over for the season as it always goes too quickly. However with last night's win I finished the bowls up 28 units. Never will argue that.

2-0 ATS YESTERDAY.... WELL HOPE SOMEONE is playing the PITT picks as they have been money!! Nice way to end the CFB bowl season with another winner last night! I won a CFB bowl contest at Cappers Mall going 19-9 and 3-0 on best bets(no totals just winners vs the lines that they posted)! Posted my strong plays on GP but not every play as most on here dont look anyway not enough flash I quess but not my style! Been a great CFB year and CBB so far good luck the rest of the year to all! I got a call last nite from my main man...SANTA..he said, "bs390 im not going to put out anymore parlays or 1st half , 2nd half plays from now on...you're outta control...its if your riding a roller coaster.. your money flying in or out all the time...get it together son! Alright, 3 plays Im hitting hard tonight:

Michigan St +8 (Agree with Vegas, Joe Weaver etc. Illinois was favored by 7 over Georgetown last month and now they are giving 8 to the best team, and only ranked opponent, they have faced by far. I dont think so)

Villanova -2.5 (Louisville is overrated IMO. They are a paltry 1-6 ATS at home with close wins over Richmond, Detroit, and MTSU. Nova guards are fast, strong and most of all experienced)

S. Illinois -4 (Salukis have won 9 in a row over Sycamores and then I read this earlier...Top scorer David Moss has a hamstring injury that will keep him from playing for the Indiana State basketball team for two to four weeks, the school announced. Moss, a 6-5 senior forward, is averaging 17.5 points. He was hurt early in the Sycamores' 97-78 loss Friday at Missouri State. He did not play in Monday's 54-46 home loss to IPFW. They lose to IPFW by 8 at home and now they get only 4 to S. ILL???)

Here's an interesting "tip" about tonights game!

NO STUDENTS? While Izzo hasn't been happy about the Spartans' tough early Big Ten schedule, he can be happy about one aspect of the next two road games - not as much noise.

The games at Illinois and then Wisconsin on Sunday are occurring during winter breaks.

Kent Brown, an Illinois spokesman, said school won't be in session in Champaign, Ill., and that he doesn't expect a full turnout from the Fighting Illini student section - the Orange Crush.

"It won't be anywhere near what it would be," Brown said.

Brown said several hundred of the 4,500-strong student section have attended home games while on break.

Just thought I'd pass this along! Go Spartans!

All right, heating up again as we hit the last 2 in a row in the Big XII. Tonight I'm jumping back into the valley (albeit a little trigger shy but still fearless) with a road favorite.

ROLL WITH ME ON Northern Iowa -1 @ Wichita State.

I know that Turgeon and the Shockers are tough this year at home. But I still believe that UNI is the cream of the crop in a very deep Valley this year. In addition, the Panthers are 3-2 SU and ATS on the road in their last 5 with the losses being to UNBEATABLE Bradley at home and the very tough Cyclones in Ames. They beat LSU SU @ LSU and other quality wins at Dayton and in the Valley. I don't have the numbers to prove it, but if I remember correctly over the years, the Panthers own the Shockers in head to head.

I am rollin on UNI..the line is varied from +1 to -1,.but I will post the worst line possible. ROLL ON UNI -1 tonight at Wichita State.

Vegas..couldn't agree more on the Spartans and whoever was on that.

Honicky..I agree with those plays as well. Only thing that scares me is the 90% bet ratio on Bradley right now. But maybe the Valley betting nation knows better than Vegas. Salukis seem to be rolling too and your right, Drake has slipped off since entering the Valley schedule.

This is not a fade of this board and it is very difficult to go against vegas hot streak but.......

20* Game of the Month for me on the ILLINOIS ILLINI -8! Last night I loved Mich. St +8 pts thinking the line was absolutely ridiculous but I think it is a trap all the way. Every board I read has people saying MSU not only covers but wins SU and everyone agrees. Illinois is my pick of the month!

GL to MSU backers but unfortunately I am the other way tonight!

This game is an especially hard game to cap for me, because I am an Illinois grad and have rooted for the Illini since I was born (I grew up in Champaign). While I agree that normally the student crowds would be missing because of the semester break during Christmas, that will NOT be true tonight. Most students are from the Chicago area and are driving down today for the game. I know that the entire Orange Krush section will be there and this game is totally sold out.

For those that follow the Illini, they have about 2 home games a year that they dub as PTO (Paint The Hall Orange)...this is NOT one of them (the first one will be against Indiana on February 19th), but you can be assured the stands will be filled with orange.

When I first started capping this game yesterday, I thought the line would be around 5-7 in favor of the Illini and when I checked this morning on VegasInsider.com I saw the line was at 7.5...so no real surprise to me.

I think this game could go 1 of 2 ways...either a very close game (as most of you hope it will be) or it could be a double-digit victory for the Illini.

While the Illini had a very potent 3-guard (Dee Brown, Deron Williams, Luther Head) offense last year, this year they have more inside presence with the return of Augustine and now Pruitt, Arnold and Randle, as well as, outside perimeter shooting from Dee Brown, McBride and the true freshman Jamar Smith. By March this team could go very deep in the tourney.

I will not bet this game, but if I had to predict a final score it would be:

Illinois -78

Michigan State - 72

Hey guys,

This is not a fade of this board and it is very difficult to go against vegas hot streak but.......

20* Game of the Month for me on the ILLINOIS ILLINI -8! Last night I loved Mich. St +8 pts thinking the line was absolutely ridiculous but I think it is a trap all the way. Every board I read has people saying MSU not only covers but wins SU and everyone agrees. Illinois is my pick of the month!

GL to MSU backers but unfortunately I am the other way tonight!

-even harder because I am a huge MSU basketball fan!
