Well not a bad night for me for a change. Hit my Indy and under as posted and then split on my NBA selections with the Heat covering and the Mav's playing piss poor against a bad Toronto team and eventually not covering., so 2-0 in the NFL and 1-1 in the NBA. Made a little xmas cash hopefully can keep it going this week.
Back later with some selections.
Is Peyton Manning not the Michael Jordan of the NFL? That guy is just so fucking awesome, cool,calm,collective at all times. And his brother isn't to far behind. This guy is the best in the league as far as i'm concerned,

fellas got my ass handed to me yesterday. Fucking prov was up 6 points (i had -5 1/2 lol) and this fucker drains a 35 footer as time expires for shits + giggles. What a horrible way to lose.
Good news is I have the rest of the week to catch up slowly but surely. I allready like a couple of games but I think I'm gonna wait for line movements. I've been following those a lot and its been hittting.
For instance last night I saw sienna and james madison lines moved late and the lines really shouldn't have moved. If you jumped on those 2 you would have gone 2-0.
Allthough its interesting that unc is favored over illinois tonight. Should be a good game. I'll be back later

All right, back at it tonight. Fellas, there are two great games in college hoops tonight that I hope are televised:
Wisconsin/Wake
N. Iowa/ISU
My play will be on the Mo Valley/Big XII tilt.
I'll roll with the Panthers tonight to take it to a talented ISU team in Ames. The Clones are nearly unbeatable at home as they dominate with their home crowd presence. UNI however is 3-0 ATS on the year and coming into an 0-2 ATS @ home ledger against ISU. The Clones had trouble covering against Portland State...PORTLAND STATE!!! In this instate rivalry, the Clones really gear up for Iowa, the Panthers gear up for ISU. This goes back to a coaching slight when Eustachy was fired and they didn't even consider the Panthers coach..an ISU alum.
I love this game and am excited to watch it. Both teams should be in the dance. Curtis Stinson and Ben Jacobsen are catalysts for their offenses and have tons of leadership. In a close one, I'll roll with the Panthers to win close or lose close. Watch the line, I haven't booked it yet but if it goes up, I'll wait.

First Pitt was bad on offense as Ben was just not right ! BUT you were still sweating bulles in the fourth quarter(+9) because Pitt defense play GREAT! This is the same team that beat CINNY & BOLTS on the road! One game with a banged up QB dont make a season! Ball bounced Colts way or that game could have covered! When they stripped Manning and Colts recovered and missed 40 yarder FG the Int and penalty before the half ! Colts are better then them but dude they stuggled also!!! Notice how many times the Colts punted!! They won and they are better but PITT still got some game! COWHER totally outcoached also! If Pitt is bad then what are the BOLTS & CINNY ( whipped them on the road) Day after gloat is weak and wrong! They took their best punch and were right there getting ready to tie it up before missed field goal! 5 plays turned this game true Indy defense shut them down but face it this is a different team when Ben is sharp! ASK THE BENGALS & BOLTS!

Also they are FAR from taking the TROPHY home! In fact if Peyton wins it will be THE FIRST TIME he has won anything since pee wee football! Did not win big game in high school! We know what he did at Tenny ( they won with frigging T. Martin the year AFTER he left) and his NFL resume in playoffs well... the dude folds like a cheap chinese tent in the big ones! When he wins ONE I will eat crow! He has made me money fading him in big games he got a small part back last night! IMO Maybe its his year but he got a long haul ahead !!

1-3 to start the week isn't what i hoped for, but i guess it's better than 0-4!!
Today I'm back with some NBA gold.
I love the Mavs getting 2 tonight against my beloved Bucks. Milwaukee is much improved and will get better as the season moves on, but they cannot D it up good enough to handle the Mavs. It may be a close game, but I don't think they can win this one. Take the Mavs +2. I'm playing this one pretty big.
Indy -4 at Utah. Utah just doesn't impress me, however Andrei Kirilenko is back (I don't think he's 100%). I like Indy here, but I'm playing it small because of the Kirilenko factor.

For tonight i like the following 2 plays in the NBA:
Magic/Bulls over 179 and also Pacers/ Jazz over 178....nothing crazy,just a small parlay to make watching them interesting and hopefully a little chump change to make on a tuesday night.
Tooting Peytons horn wasn't my way of gloating that i had colts and the under last night, was just talking shop and expressing my thoughts about his unselfish and superior play in the NFL. The guy is amazing, win or lose. I see a superbowl ticket being punched for him and the colts this year along with winning it as well.

Hey Vegas - again - wasnt having a go - I know only too well thats sports and the way it goes...
As for your plays, well let me put it this way, theres only 2/3 guys here that I would blindly place money on their picks, and your one of them - and thats still the case. And to paraphrase BP, its not about yesterday - its tomorrow we gotta start thinking about!
Besides, I nailed like a 5 team NBA play last night so for 25 investment, made back what I lost on Jets! now on to tomorrow...

Hey I gotta post again - if like me, you read Vegas' post one volume at a time
then you'll realise I didnt see his offer there to pay for my play if it loses til after I got to the third volume! There goes a man with great big stones!Needless to say I turned him down, I'm not that kind of boy - at least not on a first date!

I think everyone owes it to this board to put up one guaranteed winner before sunday, and then you take your accumulated profits and nail it on Vegas' play! that way you start small and get to nail vegas' play with a wad of the bookies money!
As for PC and studly on the Colts-Field play, come on guys, don't do that, we are here to take the bookies money, not each others! In any case, I like the Colts, but no way that I'd take em against the field at 1:1 anyway... Also, I'd be a lot happier if colts lose a regular season game. If they dont they wont win the Superbowl, there's no way a team could go 16-0 and then 3-0... I know the fins won it all but there was like 3 less games to play - thats a lot of extra games... and like PC said, all it takes is 1 key injury...

WASHINGTON -10 (PUNCHOUT PLAY) (Game of the Week) (I look for the Wizards to clobber a road weary Blazers squad playing its seventh road game in eleven days)
NEW ORLEANS +8.5 (PUNCHOUT PLAY) (I guess the Hornets are better than I expected; Chris Paul is a savior for this franchise: at least for now; they were a cash machine for me last year, so let's see if they can keep it going for me)
BOSTON -1.5 (PUNCHOUT PLAY) (the C's have to break out of the ATS slump sometime, and it's going to be tonight against the Sixers, who are playing on back-to-back nights)

I actually had strong opinions on 7 of last nights games, and all were on the right side... only one I didnt like was minny game - bit trappy but if pushed woulda taken the pts... Damn why didnt I have a bigger bankroll to play with...
As for tonight, will be watching the sixers game on tv so usually like to play a game I'm watching but I cannot possibly pull the trig on Celtics - they are WOEFUL... if they break outta this funk great, but I just dont like em. But will probably play the over - both these teams like running the floor and there is a healthy rivalry here to make this an edgy contest as opposed to a laid back 2 & 1/2 quarters of number padding before the real game starts

This line is very high... Phoenix have adjusted their play on both ends of the court due to personnel shortages, and the end result is that after 12 games, 5 have gone over 200 (1 OT), not OVER, just O200 and just fyi, still those same 5 have gone O196, Of the remaining 7 games the average total is 184!
For the record, Phoenix are 5-7 O/U by my book although i know some were a push but i guess it depends when you took the line
As for indiana, they are 5-8 O/U, but of those 5 overs, 3 were blowouts ok, but the other 2 went over by a combined total of 3 pts! so Take the line early, could make all the difference...
So in reality, depending on when you took lines, the total O/U for these teams could actually be 8-18! I know this is a stretch but you gotta see angles, and thats how I see this one...

I'm feeling pretty jazzed up after picking pretty much the entire card right last night, not much good to any of you or me, but was worried about the possiblity of the dreaded 'S' word, but happy to know that I am not near that at all!
