Scott Spreitzer KO Game of the Month
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Handicapper: Scott Spreitzer
League: College Football
Event: Bowling Green vs Miami Ohio on 11/15/2005 at 16:00
Condition: Miami Ohio
Grade: Ungraded
Promotion: Miami-Ohio is my Tuesday night KO Game of the Month. Whether BG QB Omar Jacobs plays tonight or not, I'm firmly on the side of the favorite in this one. The Falcon offense has hit the skids since Jacobs' injury - and even if he goes, I believe the unit will be a bit out of sync. BG struggles when playing quality teams away from home. This season, they've feasted against sub-.500 opposition, but they're 0-3 SU against winning teams, getting outscored 149-76, an average of 50-25! Miami has played very well since a couple of tough losses to start the season. It took a few weeks for new HC Shane Montgomery to get on track, but they're 6-1 since losing to Ohio State & Central Michigan. They've scored 37, 44, 51, and 54 at home this season, and even though the competition is tougher this week, they'll still have little trouble moving the ball and scoring against this poor traveler. Miami by 18 to 21 points. My KO Game of the Month is the Miami Redhawks! Thanks! Good Luck! Scott.

MIAMI OH over Bowling Green by 10
Greg Brandon has admitted that he is saving Omar Jacobs for
Toledo. He says that Jacobs might play here but he always finishes
those projections with a confirmation that he wants Omar for
the Toledo game. Even with Jacobs in there, it’s no gimme that
Bowling Green will be able to outduel the RedHawks. Miami’s
defense, although not up to previous standards, is far better
than the BeeGee stop troops and Josh Betts has the ability to
render the Falcon secondary helpless. Despite the RedHawks'
5-0 ATS mark in the series, we’ll probably sit this one out and
wait for better stuff down the road.
