few games that catch the eye tomorrow so far. still need more researching to see what the final couple of plays will be...
Philly-3 (maybe the Under) without TO, they were the best team in the NFC. well, they are without him again...
memphis-4 - i expect the fakers to go on a downward spiral as they are 3-3 and havent beat anybody yet.
Duke -36 - forget about it!
manhatten +3
for sure the Manhatten play. seton hall is horrible and Manhatten can really surprise some teams returning 4 starters. out of those starters, CJ Anderson was voted freshman of the yr in the MAAC. this yr, they already have another fav to win that award in Devon Austin.
even though SH has some transfers from JC's, they lost 4 out of their best 5 players from last yr and they sucked last yr.
i understand that the Big east is a different story from the MAAC, but i dont care...

Alright folks,
I know my posted NFL was good, and I should have made out like a bandit, but I didnt... Simple reason for it was that in the first set of games I didnt like what Pats were doing and figured to cover, so made no money on that, and to compensate, played on KC half time and they tanked! Then in later games, was about to pull the trigger on Panthers second half for 3* and the bet disappeared while I was waiting for bet confirmation (sickener!) So I ended up playing Falcons second half...
Long story short - made a loss on Sunday NFL, but won it back on that Over in Denver - but still down a small bit from my start position on Sunday.
Let that be a lesson to all - if you spend the time to do the research then stick to your picks and don't be impulsive... I ain't perfect and thankfully I didnt pay too heavy a price for my folly...

NFL: Dallas +3 -125 ** - There's a lot to be afraid of with Philly with the TO saga bubbling about on the backburner, and for sure they will play inspired ball, but a team thats having trouble running, that has a wide receiving corps that has a combined 40 catches for 493 yards and 2 TD's isnt going to be stretching a stout Dallas secondary, so your reduced to using Westbrook off screens and flats and LJ Smith over the centre... Now your going to tell me that Philly pretty much leads the league in Pass yards, and Passing TD's... well take away TO's numbers, and Philly would rank in the hi-teens on both (ie) middle of the pack - nothing special.
And then there's the rush attack... 328 yards/1 TD for their top RB - I think I'd be more worried by the Ottawa Roughriders rush offence.
All in all, Philly will have to rely on the genius of #5, and thats with him banged up a bit. Expect lots of short passing West Coast offence, but they wont be able to stretch the field enough to scare the Dallas corners or safeties, so I expect Dallas' very respectable D to corral them and keep Philly's punt/kick teams busy.
On the other side of the ball, Philly's D has been getting beat plenty this year. and while Dallas won't scare too many teams, they do seem to get plenty of yards on the boards without necessarily converting that possession, which is why they have struggled all year to put away teams. But anyone will tell you that if you can control the ball then you are going to get rewarded.
Dallas to win this game but it will be a squeek - see all their wins this year... and that oft trotted out line about them winning 3 games by a combined 10pts, and losing 3 games by a combined 10pts too and having 5 games decided by 4pts or less... Take the points, won't be easy, but it will be profitable
X-factor is the TO saga (& MNF of course), if you believe that Philly will be united in their desire to exorcise the shadow of TO on coast-to-coast HDTV, then you should bet Philly. And as Vegas will tell you, an emotional edge is a huge thing in pro-sports where most of these guys don't necessarily give a 100%. But given all that, I just dont think they have the personnel to really hurt Dallas. When you think of emotional edge, think San Diego beating up on Giants and Giants beating up on Washington, both games were pegged tight and were blow outs, but in both cases those teams had weapons, Philly I'm not so sure.
This is just my opinion, dont want die-hard Eagles fans hounding me, I'm just calling it as i see it, and we'll find out one way or another soon enough.

NBA Play: Memphis Grizz -3.5 -110 ** - Lakers are on the last stop of a early season road swing and they will be sure glad to be home because while they may entertain thoughts of splitting their road trip, they have the unfortunate task of taking on a tight Grizz team that will surely be able to sic Kobe on a leash as both Philly & Minny have done before them.

but, a Dogg winna is a Dogg winna. so, you can have that for the week.
i actually emailed the fellas (GTNP/Tako/Pako/BP/SUNDAY/etc) that my play on that game was the Under.
i really like that MEMPHIS play. i actually feel a blow out here and want to still see if i can get -3 just in case Kobe goes off.

Anyways, my lean is towards eagles tonight -3 +100. i see some peeps like dallas, i'll roll with the home team. only a 1 unit play for some action. i won a unit on alabama st. earlier so maybe i can double it. lol.

Went 2-2 yesterday with my NFL road dogs and 1-0 with the only college football game yesterday as Houston Cougars snuck by So Miss.
I like Dallas and 3 tonight. This game is a tossup so I'm taking the points. Parcells' boys stop the run (which Phi doesn't have anyway) and bring it. A couple of hits and Koy Detmer might finish this game. You heard it here.
