Now let's turn to your comp pick for the Monday card.
A push with the Bears as Sunday's complimentary pick, but still 3-0-1 the past four days with back-to-back NBA winners on the Suns (2 Dimes) and Celtics (3 Dimes) on Thursday and Friday, and Texas Tech (5 Dimes) on Saturday.
Tonight I would guess that the public is going to be all over the over, no pun intended, when Indianapolis and New England meet in Foxboro. But, I just don't agree.
The Colts are not scoring as they did in year's past, and their defense has been outstanding, allowing just 11 points a game.
Injuries have crippled the Patriots' stop unit, but they're coming off their best game of the season last Sunday against Buffalo, which coincided with Teddy Bruschi's return to the lineup. And, it marked the first time this year New England had stayed under in a contest.
I believe this game is earmarked for a 24-17 or 21-13 final, keeping it well under the posted price.
2 Dimes on Indianapolis-New England Under (on a 1 Dime to 10 Dime Scale)

New England/Indy with analyis
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW ENGLAND +4 +1.00 over Indianapolis
You might want to wait until game time if you’re on the Patriots because this line is surely not coming down. Everyone and their brother are on the Colts and that’s a mistake in our opinion. Every year it’s the same thing. The Colts seem to be ready to take it to the next level and than boom, they play the Patriots and all dreams are shattered. Sure, the Champs don’t look like the same team, especially on the defensive side of the ball, however, what’s most noteworthy here is that losing to New England is in the Colts head and has been for years. So what’s changed? Well, for one, the Colts defense, or at least that’s we keep hearing on TV. Let’s have a look at that greatly improved defense, shall we? Indy has played Baltimore, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Tennessee, San Fran, St. Louis and Houston. Do you see any efficient offenses in that group because we don’t. Oh, St. Louis you say? Well, let us remind you that the Rams were up 17-0 in the first quarter in that game when Marc Bulger was injured and did not return. The Houston Texans have managed to score 20 points just one time this year and guess whom they did it against. So, we’re not buying the greatly improved defense theory for a second because this Colts defense has been tested for one quarter this season and failed miserably. Meanwhile, New England has played Oakland, Pittsburgh (against a healthy Roethlisberger), San Diego, Atlanta, Carolina, Denver and Buffalo. Combined, those teams are 35-22 and four of them are 6-2. Combined, the teams the Colts faced are 19-38 and most of them reside in the basement of their respective divisions. So yeah, the Colts should be 7-0. All we know is that the Colts are suppose to beat this New England team every year and every year they walk off the field shaking their heads. Forget everything you’ve read this year about these two clubs, you’ve read the same thing every year. Instead, realize that the Colts can’t beat this team, not at home, not in New England and not anyplace else. Until they get this proverbial monkey off their backs, we’ll gladly take points offered and suggest that we likely won’t even need them. Play: New England +4 +1.00 (Risking 1.5 units).
