Yesterday started out nice and then fell apart at night. Losing Ray Allen to the flu before the game even started was a huge blow. I knew I was pretty much screwed when I saw this. I should have never opened my big mouth about a team never covering four games in six days on the road b/c Indiana just did it. That sure backfired on me. I see different things happening every year. Hopefully, I can put it all together and make next season a very profitable one. I have one play for today on:

Another great day yesterday 3-2 ATS posted and 3-0 ATS with the help of Vegas-NBA, the boys in chat, and axd's zona for a solid 6-2 ATS and hit a four teamer.
Without further ado my Mo Valley Game of the Year:
SW Mo State vs. UNI:
I haven't seen a number posted, but it will be relatively small either way. In the previous two meetings this year, The Northern Iowa Panthers have covered and won SU over the SW MO State Bears. This conference tourney is an unusual one in that neither Creighton nor SIU are in the finals for the first time in 7 years. UNI is fresh off a huge win against a surging Wichita STate team. After being down by 7 at the half on Saturday, UNI not only took the lead, but fought off every challenge the Shockers threw at them. On the other side of the court, SW MO state has been incredible knocking off Creighton and SIU in consecutive games. SW MO had a wonderful game against the Saluki's keeping it close and then hitting key buckets down the stretch.
UNI has owned SW Mo this year. Both teams can be considered a cinderella because neither had a realistic chance of making the dance without this win. UNI has surged in the second half of the season as evidenced by their 17-9 ATS record and solid 8-2 ATS in the last 10. This is a tough game, but I'm backing UNI to cover and cash in for my MO valley game of the year!!!
Take UNI and either lay or take the points. This will be a good game but UNI has too much firepower from the outside. SW Mo is great at defending the interior but doesn't have the team speed to mark and defend NIU's bombers. Schneidermann will have a big game inside as well.
Mo Valley tallys for the year:
regular games 42-23ATS
GOM: 3-1-1ATS (frickin Shockers vs. SIU cost me a perfect record)
GOY: last two years 2-0 ATS
NBA:
small card, but I like two plays...
Lakers-2 1/2 (No Kobe doesn't matter...the Jazz are young and will have their hands full with the Glove and Shaq working a nice inside out game
Dallas-10 over the Suns
Dallas is in a slump. What better game to break out of it and post a big number against the lowly Suns. Where's Chambers and Gugs when you need them? Mavs outrun the Suns tonight.

Bowling Green - 7' ( The BeeGees have covered 10 of their last 13 season games and are playing much better now because they're healthy)
Ball St - 5' (17-9-2 ATS in this tournament including 10-1-1 ATS as a favorite of 2 or more points)
E Mich + 6' (The Emus are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS with revenge in this tourney and they are excellent shooters, hitting 46.6 % for the season...Most important, they own the 2nd and 3rd best rebounders in the league)
Buf -10' (Playing excellent ball of late plus tip from a good reliable source)

Good luck fellas, looking to build on a fantastic Sunday. This is the hardest GOY I've released in three years of the Valley. I'm putting a nice sized play on it. On paper, NIU owns every trend, stat, and ATS number, and the Bears should be out of gas after tough games against Creighton and SIU. We'll see what happens. I'll have my Big XII GOY in the Big XII tourney...will probably be a first round early AM game on Wed. so beware!!!

This is my good luck to all of you!!! I have not fair well the last 2 weeks...augggg. I even bet a horse race at Santa Anita...Buddy Gil...guess what...hes still running and havent finish the line yet!!! OH Well, thats the way its goes ...bad luck!!! Thanks for the tip anyway Sunday. I will not be posting any more losing bets for you.. but i am going to play Mr Vegas baseball game this morning its start in 5 minutes....Cleveland Indians...maybe vegas can get me back!!! Just have 1 pick for tonight and it will be small, but I wanted to give a little advice to bs390 as well.
bs390, this game of capping is about streaks, just as the games you bet on. You can hit 8 in a row and the team you wager on can win 8 in a row. The same applies the other way with the losses, but understand that what comes around, goes around buddy. You don't have to be a genius, just watch the games and know how to read stat's and trends. You are Fine, but when thinking negative, then negative comes your way. As always a little Luck doesn't hurt either.
Now if your trying to get out of the hole, Pre-season Baseball is not the answer, I don't care you is picking and I don't care what team is being picked. Unless you know Kinston's backup 2nd baseman or Omaha's hitting coach, your just in a crapshoot BS. Nothing to go by, and if the GOOD players don't give a shit, why should you ?

thanks for the advice SUNDAY. I will truly listen and learned from this, but i forgot to tell you that i caught a little Leprechaun today and he promised me his pot of GOLD and his FOUR LEAF CLOVER and the little guy had a rabbit foot in his wee little pocket. The DAWG bounced back a little yesterday going 5-3...Putting an end to a miserable week (15-24)...I am sitting at 166-149 overall and looking to get back to the winning way. (Last week was my first losing week in 6 weeks)
