just some thoughts...
both USC and Texas have huge spreads against sorry teams. you would have to think that they both will try to blow the spread out of the water. it almost makes sense to throw 1 unit on each play thinking that, worst case, you get juiced out.
58% on Wash st and line for USC is shrinking from -31 to -29 in some places. i am thinking that Dog players here figure that Wash st can run the rock like they did aginst Ucla...???
66% on Texas line remains -36.5.

FUCLA is -7 @ Stanford. hhhhmmmm. it almost seems too easy for people to jump all over ucla.
some things to consider for this game...
1. with a new coach, maybe Stanford isnt the same Stanford from past
2. the loss to UC Davis is a bit misleading. Edwards came out of that game early. having said that, their B team should still crush UCD.
3. Ucla is #1 in the Pac for taking care of the ball (+10). stanford is #2 (+7). this game could come down to Turn Overs.
4. Ucla is unbelievable in the Red Zone (have no idea how stout Stanford is there).
some other things that i will have to look into is Stanfords rushing attack. we learned from Wash st that, if you can run the ball, you can stay in the game with Ucla and their horrible run defense.
Bottom line is this, the Line that was set leads me to believe that Stanford is the play. but, like others in here, i've been screwed by Stanford a few times in the last couple of years.
so far, 78% is on UCLA. if the spread stays the same (-7). i would be more inclined to take Stanford with the pub that heavy on UCLA.

Big Injuries in the SEC
Shockley out for Georgia. here is what this means...( i got this off an article about Shockley going out of the Arky game early)...
"But the Bulldogs (7-0, 5-0 Southeastern Conference) weren't nearly as effective on offense after Shockley went down with about 10 minutes to go in the first half. They finished with only 217 yards -- less than half of their SEC-leading average of 454 -- despite facing a defense that ranked 11th in the conference at 424 yards per game."
then, i also read this statement by the back up who will be starting...
``I've got to think of it as just another game,'' he said. ``I can't be too nervous or too uptight.''
i wouldnt have too much confidence in this guy in what will be the biggest game of the season for both teams at Florida.
Florida is coming off of a bye and has vandy to look forward to.
conversely, Georgia just played a sloppy game against Arky where they were 3 td fav's and look forward to a huge game with Auburn.
Leak was able to rest his bumb shoulder during the bye week.
the thing about this game that i would have to look into is what geargias pass rush looks like. i know that Florida probably still leads the SEC in sacks allowed. i used this info as a reason to play Bama against them earlier in the season. if Leak doesnt have time to get the rock over to Jackson (top 5 wr in next yrs draft), they could get manhandled defensively.
early line movement. 70% on geaorgia and line has gone from -5.5 to -4 with Flo as the fav.

Playing against 1-6 Kent and just blew the doors off of Bowling Green in BG. Played Uva very tough on the road but the difference has been the QB change. That muthafucker has been money from day 1 $$$$$$$$$

FUCK NM. another meltdown for a team that i was on. thats 3 days in a row.
1st H plays for tomorrow...
9 am NEB -1 pickriding a bit and i agree with a close home victory. NEB has won the last 6 at Hornhusker home and they lead the nation with 38 sacks.
9am MINNY +10 have this to close out a teaser. Minny will run the ball straight at the athletic LB's and Cupito is going to start. hes too athletic for the Ohio D to only worry about Maroney and Russel.
12pm BAMA-34 utah st wont score in this game at all. bama is undefeated and i look for all undefeated teams to run up the score as much as possible for number crunching. also, i feel that they have to get their O back on track to build confidence and momentum before LSU and Auburn.
3:30 pm STANFORD +7 line says to take them. also, see previous post on this game.
4pm OVER 58 in Texas/Okie st are you kidding me with this total? am i missing something here? Texas will score 60 by themselves. depending on how the other games go, i will unload my biggest play of the year on this play. i also like Texas to cover and crush by 40+

MICH -3 hate to throw this out there cuzz we made a pact not to play their games anymore, but they win fairly convincing here. even with CARRS rediculously conservative offense, MICH will finally have the offensive break out we all expected all season.
They are almost finally fully healthy and should be rated based on that, especially if Hart is 80% or better. their Best offensive lineman is about to start his 1st game, Breaston is healthy enough now to look like the Breaston sophmore, Lamar Woodley (the #1 ranked DE recruit in 03 didnt play last wk)
i just dont know what the update is on Jason Avant. Regardless, MICH has the best 3 WR's in the nation facing the 113th ranked Defense.
also, there is a reason why the line was set at -3 @ NW while they are hot
maybe BYU also...
maybe FLO...

Not much time for a write up guys but last week was pretty crazy for me I won every pick I made except my 2 favorites OREGON and NEW ORLEANS so I could have had a huge pay day but missed by those 2 games by a FG each, fucking figures.... whatever, for today i got...

Again this one looks too easy. Carolina has scored 4 goals or more in 6 of last 7 games and Pitt has scored 3 or more in 6 of last 8 games. Unless goaltending somehow appears for Pitt, this one should fly over.
Sorry about the loss yesterday. Neither team had their legs until halfway thru the 2nd period. 1-0 after 2 and we still only missed a push by 1 goal. That 3rd period is how i expected most of the game to be, just took too long to show up. Oh well, this isn't horseshoes or hand grenades, so close doesn't mean crap. Lets get it back tonight.
