2-1 on my own ATS plays and 1-1 on pickridin plays yesterday..I'll take it.
Today's card:
Big XII: Mizzou -3. For those of you who doubt the Tigers, know this, Mizzou is making their annual Snyder run to the dance with a late string of victories over ranked opponents. Remember a lot of you took Okie State at the Hearns Center. This is the last game being played in the Hearnes center in a rivalry that we in the midwest are proud of. For those of you who hopped UNC last night, don't listen to the bullshit. This is the true rivalry in college hoops, going back 133 years (3'rd longest continous rivalry in the country). Mizzou will dominate a close game and pull away at the end. Take Mizzou and lay the points.
Mo Valley Semi's:
SIU/SW Mo STate under...don't have a total posted yet but SIU isn't putting up 93 points again today.
UNI...Haven't seen a spread yet but I'm going to assume they are the dog. I will have my Mo Valley game of the year as the conference tourney championship.
Big East:
UCONN/Syracuse Under 145 1/2. Syracuse can run with anyone, but why would you when you can play coach Jim's 22 year patented match up 2-3 zone? This is a small play for me but I like the Under.
ACC:
I'm taking Virginia and laying the points. +10 and UVA has had some huge quality wins in the last two weeks. Winner of this game should make the dance. I like UVA to cover a close one.
RECAP:
Mizzou-3...average play
UNI ???....average play
SIU/SW MO State Under..small play
UConn/Syracuse Under 145 1/2...small play
UVA+10...average play

7-11-1 ATS YESTERDAY ! 167-139 ats total ! Rough day yesterday even late cover by Pitt could not save day! Today I see some games that could get me back on track. U. CONN. -4 vs the Cuse ! Even though this game is on the road ( hate givin pts on road in big east) Conn. just has to much firepower for the Cuse though Cuse on a little roll they still have trouble coring vs top notch defense( wvu has bad defense so throw out last game and Pitt shut them down just shot it sideways) those last two games have kept this spot down to four pts. Today Conn. will shut down popgun offense and run and run and run and RUN UP THE SCORE IN WHAT SHOULD BE A BOATLOAD GAME AS THE CREAM RISES TO THE TOP !! GOOD LUCK BACK LATER !!

Split the last two days, but lose the bigger plays. That hurts! Today's board looks very good! Of course, the public is all over the road favorites (What else is new?) You know where I am going with this. My preference is on all the home dogs except one. My plays are:
DENVER +2 (Average Play) (favorite play of the day) (I can't ever recall seeing a team cover four road games in six days on a west coast trip; throw in the fact that Denver was flat out embarrassed last night by Detroit, and they should come out with some fire tonight against the Pacers who beat them earlier in the year by 11 points.)
HOUSTON -1 (Average Play) (after finally coming out of a seven game ATS slide the other night against the Timberwolves on the road, I look for Houston to end their five game home ATS slide in this double revenge spot against a below average road team)
SEATTLE +1 (Small Play) (Detroit has been rolling lately, but I look for the Sonics to knock off the Pistons tonight; Detroit is playing their fifth road game in eight days and is coming off a thumping of the Nuggets last night; I think Seattle wins this game against a tired team tonight)
Maybe one more when I see a line on NJN/LAL
Season Record: 157-137-4 (53.4%)
5-9 Large Plays
55-42-1 Average Plays
97-86-3 Small Plays
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Back from my backyard woodshed beating.
Have been reading a lot lately and building my pot back up to make more senseless picks. Thanks to all of you for letting my write up my dribble. KUTGW
Here are my picks today:
NCAA:
Kentucky -7.5 Kentucky is 5 - 0 last three seasons ATS vs. FLA and 2 - 0 at home. Don't see Florida keeping up.
Riding MTSU (+8.5) along with the rest of you.
SMS +7 SIU will probably win the game, but SMS plays 'em tough. Lost by 7 at SIU and lost by 1 at SMS. Should be close and may win outright.
NBA
Hornets (-2.5) You guys have said enough about this already
Kings (-8) Poor Magic. Bad team playing a team that got upset by the Heat the night before. Should be blowout.
NHL
Stars -0.5
Rangers -0.5
Good luck and Remember:
Don't ever be afraid of the big, bad Bookie Man!!!!

Kentucky -7.5 -- Kentucky at home and Florida is not a good road team
Arizona -16.5 -- Rivalry game, and Az. St. is awful this year
UConn -3.5 -- Although Syracuse is playing for their tournament lives, Okafor is too much for them.
Virginia +10 -- too many points for a mediocre Maryland team
Gonzaga -13.5 -- Gonzaga is rolling and this will be Santa Clara's third game in 3 days, while Gonzaga is well rested.
St. Mary's -3.5 -- beat Pepperdine by 9 earlier in the week, and Pepperdine had to play last night
Hopefully better than yesterday

NOT MUCH TODAY GUYS. REALLY JUST LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TOURNAMENT STARTING. THE LAST WEEK OF THE SEASON IS JUST SO HARD TO PREDICT WITH ALL THESE IRRELEVANT TEAMS TRYING TO MAKE A STATEMENT THEIR LAST TWO GAMES WHEN THEY HAD ALL SEASON TO DO SOMETHING BUT FAILED. IT IS ENJOYABLE TO WATCH AS A SPECTATOR BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO CAP.
ILLINOIS -8 / I HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK WITH OHIO ST THIS YEAR & I HOPE IT CONTINUES TODAY. I JUST THINK ILLINOIS IS TOO MUCH FOR THEM. THE LAST THREE MEETINGS HAVE BEEN ONE SIDED, NOW THEY WERE ALL AT OHIO ST, BUT STILL, THEY ARE JUST A BETTER TEAM.
UCONN -4 / THEY SEEM TO BE PEAKING AT THE RIGHT TIME. TOO MUCH FOR SYRACUSE TODAY.
G. MASON -1 / BEAT THEM TWICE ALREADY THIS YEAR, ONE BY 2 & THE OTHER BY DD'S.
PLAYING SOME MONEYLINE GAMES TODAY AS WELL CUZ THE POINTS JUST SCARE ME RIGHT NOW. GOOD LUCK GUYS.

Good day yesterday going 3-1, bad week overall at 8-10-1. Got 4 games so far today, hopefully will do good to avoid 1st losing week since posting.
1) Memphis (-1.5) - Memphis is 11-0-1 ATS last 12 road games and has covered last 5 games. Golden St. is 1-7 ATS last 8. Also, Memphis is 11-3-1 ATS on zero days rest.
2) Detroit (-1) - Detroit is playing great basketball lately going 6-1 ATS last 7 overall and Seattle is 2-5 ATS last 7 at home.
3) Indiana (-2) - Been riding Indiana lately and are 6-1 ATS last 7 road games and 22-10 ATS overall on the road. Denver 1-3 ATS last 4 including getting smoked yesterday by Detriot.
4) Illinois (-8.5) - Ohio St is 7-20 ATS and 4-11 ATS at home. Illinois win Big Ten title with win so they should be fired up. Beat Ohio St 85-63 at home.
Will post later if I find any more games. Good luck everyone!!
