okay last night we went 3-0, wins with Anahein, Dallas and Montreal.....we lost the DDD...TB came from behind to beat the Devils in OT....Canucks waited to the 3rd to play a hot red wings but it was too late....our record for the week is 10 - 4 and our DDD is 1-2

couple things out there tonight....so we have 2 picks, the DDD and the Grand Salami...

Montreal is rolling with a 7-3 record in their last 10 while LA is 3-4-3. The habs picked up Dowd from Minny (good stay-at-home defenceman)...this only adds more defensive depth making it much harder for opponents to score...add in their netminder theodore and goals will few and far between...we like the habs in a low scoring affair....plus we get the half goal in case of a tie.

TOR (-0.5 -170)

a bit of wood to lay but we consider this a safe one because the sabres are letting in too many goals lately....almost like there is no target standing in the pipes....although the sabres have had the leaf's number this season.....as we turn for home the leafs will turn it on for the race to get 1st in the Eastern Conference....leafs are tough customers at home so we side with them tonight.

Ottawa got the snot beat out of them last night in the city of brotherly love...literally...there were 7 flyers left on the bench at the end of the game and 6 players for the senators...everyone else was making sure they get the hot water first in the showers..

bad blood from a high stick the game before...etc etc etc, lots of tilts, including the starting tenders...so....

we have the predators watching the game back in ottawa last night waiting for them to get out of the ER before jumping the flight back home....

preds are coming off a 9-4 thumping they laid on the penguins...no big deal but it does build confidence...ottawas mind will not be on this game...preds are 6-3-1 in their last 10

preds are a hard hitting team, i mean thats all these guys do in the first is throw the body around....then when someone takes exception they have 3 sometimes 4 guys who willl field your complaint.....nothing worse than getting laid out in a hit then getting punched out when you dont like it

i REALLY like the Preds in this one....come out hard to send a message to the rest of the teams that they are serious at the post season.

blues head to the island for a match with NY....both teams are struggling.... the reason i like STL here is they are allowing less goals per game over their last 5 compared to the Isles, 2 compared to 4 and they have a better save percentage at 92.1 compared 85.8% for the Isles...

blues havent been scoring much lately, so when the time comes to correct the situation, like playing shitty goaltending, usually the flood gates open.....we like the Blues in this one

just started looking at this last night and we nailed the OVER 46.

as husker mentioned looks like another OVER 52 night...i laid out the games and the predicted score and we have 53 goals....but i have been conservative on a couple...mainly TB/FLA, STL/NYI so im confident in saying it goes over tonight.
