already played MIAMI. i just cant see Temple scoring once on this team. and i know MIAMI has, at least, 6 tds in them.
the Michigan Penn st line is funny to me. it should seem like Penn St would be favored by 5 or more the way that MICH has played this yr.
hopefuuly, this is the same type of line PHILLY was this wk end.
also, i need some input on these 2 games...
FSU v. Virginia
Nebraska v. Baylor
i feel like jumping all over FSU and Nebraska. but, like usual, i will overanalyze (paralyze) the situation, swich teams, then lose both games.
once again in the NFL, i dont end up playing the few plays that stick out to me the most. 3 out of 4 dogs won outright. 3-1 with the ml would have been really nice $$$.
i guess we can just lay wood on Ricky's punk ass HORNS. they are a cash-cow...

Ok nice win with the Steelers last night, what was with that muff punt, what a dumb rule. Well at least we won. 2 Plays I love tonight!!
Angels/Sox Under 8.5 - Angels have to be tired and WSox will learn what real pitching is (they will be used to the shitty pitching of Boston). The Angels bullpen is the best in MLB. The layoff isn't going to have helped their bats either. This is a HUGE Play for me.
Angels +160 I know they will be tired but I see a low scoring game as per above. Byrd has pitched well and Contreras has not had any career success against the Angels, going 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts. I see a 4-3 game won by the Angels. Byrd will pitch decent, allowing 3 runs in 6. Sheilds will get the job done in the 7th and 8th, with KROD closing the door in the 9th.

All right, we squeaked by last night with the under in the halos game. I also hit on Pitt and Parley 123 is my litmus test as I start capping hockey totals this year. I'll post if my system is worth anything. It will only be plays on Florida and Tampa Bay totals. I'm going to play about 10 of them and then start posting if they do anything. Currently 1-0 ATS after last night's hit but I lost one earlier that was a non florida team. Anyways..on to baseball.....
I'm using the best line I have available for this game: Pinnacle Sports..
MLB BEST BET POST SEASON PLAY #9:
I'm rolling with the Angels ML tonight against the White Sox. If you don't like it throw it away. This play (as my boy Sunday would say) is "not for the feint of heart." Contreras has been downright nasty in the stretch, winning 9 starts in his last 9 out. But there is a lot of value and reasoning in taking the Angels today. Here's why I'm playing them ML:
1.) Don't give me the travel schedule and the time off for the Sox. The MLB season is 162 games in 187 days. These guys are used to playing up to 13 games at a stretch and hopping on a plane. The Halos were smart and left last night giving them plenty of time to be ready for tonight's big game. Ask yourself this..if your a pro athlete..you think your going to be tired tonight? Throw that logic out the window...the Halos won't be weary from the travel.
2.)Contreras's and the Sox's numbers against the Halos at home are terrible Check out these stats:

WHITE SOX PROBABLE STARTING PITCHER: Contreras (15-7, 3.61 ERA). Contreras has not had any career success against the Angels, going 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts. He was 7-5 with a 3.78 ERA in 18 home starts this year.
Look at the series record in Chicago this year between the two:

May 31 CHW CHW 5-4 Politte Donnelly

In 6 games played at Chicago this year..the Angels have won 4 out of 6 and the last four in the row. Put simply, the Angels don't have any trouble matching up with the Sox.
#3. Angels will have much more success on the basepaths against the Sox. You might have heard the talk surrounding the Angel's inability to get their running game going against Posada and the Yanks pitching. Not the case in this series..AJ is in their for his bat and game calling, not for his arm. Chone has much better stats against the Sox then he does against the Yanks. Mark my words, Chone will eat up the basepaths Scottie Pod style for the Halos in this series.
#4. Post season success. The Angels have been their time and time again. The White Sox come off an easy sweep against the Red Sox and now face serious crunch time. Much props to the White Sox for holding off the Indians and then taking it to last year's champs. But again, I refer to the nucleaus and experience in the post season. 8 out of the 9 starters for the Angels and 17 on the expanded roster have played during the Angels World Series championship in 2002. The manager Scoscia (spelling? trooper?) is a great post season game caller which he showed again last night. Ozzie is a fly by the seat of the pants manager which might burn him against Mikey tonight. The Angels know how to get it done and winning game 1 is more important to them then the rested Sox.
#5. Byrd...I know he hasn't looked stellar..but this kid can pitch when he needs to. He was one of the best ERA road pitchers in the bigs this year.
In Contreras's last 3 starts against the Angels..Jose is 0-3 with an ERA over 6..Byrd's only start against the White Sox was a 10-7 win this year.
FELLAS..I'm not super strong on this one but I love the value..I think the line is way off..if you don't like the ML play the run line on the angels. BUT I RARELY PLAY RUN LINES..and I love the value on the Angels.

SUNDAY will back off PSU this week after laying the wood to them last two games at home(getting points hope someone followed my rants) BUT if line is more then 3 will bet PSU again for an average bet! Defense dont take a break but going on the road is a whole different story for the offense! PSU has great defensive backs and sometimes that is overlooked in CFB! OSU has a good defense but they were the second best defense on the field that night because of their secondary! If QB for PSU does not turn it over PSU will be in the hunt! This setup is usually a loser something special may be brewing in Happy Valley!
