I'll post one baseball play every day of the playoffs. Here's my first one...and GOD DO I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!!
Play #1 Post Season:
Roll on over 7 -120 (booked Monday night) on the Cardinals/Padres...Peavy and Carpenter must go.
Here's my take: Carpenter (one of my favorite pitchers) rolls against Peavy. The Cardinals have been on a gravy train since about Mid August. Offensively, I think you'll see Pujols, Edmonds, a healthy Walker, JRod, and the pesky leadoff hitters get to Peavy for at least 3 or 4 runs. Carpenter is the X factor. Which CC will we see...the Cy Young shoo in or the guy who had an ERA of over 5 in to the end the season? I'm rollin on the over. Hoping the public keeps hammering the under.
ROLL ON OVER 7 -120 Peavy/Carpenter.
SERIES PLAY: Rolled on the Astros -120 against the Braves. I just don't think the Bravos have the arms they used to. I'll take Roger, Andy, Oswalt and Lidge over Smoltz, Hudson, Thomson, and Farnsworth. This will be a good series though. The offensive edge definetely falls to the Braves. However, the Braves have exited in the last 4 NLDS's they have played in. STROS FOR THE SERIES -120.

Mr Contreras has been "GOLD" all year at home this year on the Unders!
15 of 18 of the games that Contreras started at home this year went under! In their last 7 games, the WS have held opponents to an average of 2.4 runs. 10 of the WS last 12 games have went under!
Mr Clement should settle back in to his "control" type game and do his part in keeping this a low scoring game for the Red Sox.

Just a note on the Sox game today. The start time is 3pm central which is dictated by MLB. The White Sox do not schedule games to start at 3pm because of the shadow line that is between the pitcher and the hitter which makes it extremely difficult for a hitter to pick up the ball. It is sunny in Chicago so this factor comes into play.
This maybe offset by the left fielder dropping a ball for the same sun issue, but it helps the under more than the over.

Seemed like this happened last year where someone came on here & started giving people shit, which turned them off from posting any more.
