TAMPA BAY -2 (like this a lot, but no huge play on a fav. for me this early)

Fellas..I'm huge on this play...
This is my favorite time of the year to bet MLB as the oddsmakers are clueless on September call ups and many bookmakers have kept traditional lines for those teams that are out of the playoff chase. I am heavy on this play and am going large on it.
ROLL ON UNDER 9 in Minnesota/Detroit...Liriano and Douglass must go.
Here's why:
Liriano was the Minor league pitcher who totalled the most K's in the minors. More than current MLB phenoms Zach Duke (Pitt) Felix Hernandez (Seattle), Paul Maholm (Pitt) and other notables. Liriano was the minor league pitcher of the month for 2 of the 5 months of the season. I am veryhigh on this guy and back him up with the Twins bully and you see one side of the under cover. Throw in the weak hitting bats of Minny and the Twinkies take care of their end. The Tigers are in the same boat. July callup Douglass is a quality pitcher who also has rough outtings. The backend of the Tigers rotation is not as strong as the Twinkies but have lots of talent. So far this year..the under in this series has come in at a 5-3-2 ATS rate. Only once in the season series the two teams have combined for 2 overs in a row. The game went over last night and I see no reason to not knock hard on the under today.
Stats for the two pitchers:
Liriano..first start
Douglass..3-1 with a 4.32 ERA at home..Detroit is on a 7-3 run under during their last 10 and a 4-1 under clip in their last 5 at home.
Play it if you like, throw it away if you don't. This game goes off early today Wednesday...so do what ya like. It's not a sure fire winner, and I might be missing something..but I think this total should be more at 7 1/2 and I'm riding the under.
